    Jayce’s neck twisted faster than his body could, like his skin felt unfamiliar. That was the least of his concerns, however. He was in a cozy room. Appearing to be an office or a study of some sort. And it was familiar.

    Familiar in the fact some of his own books, journals, shelves, clothing, and other miscellaneous items were scattered throughout the place.

    Though, he was quite certain he’d never been in the actual room before. Ever. Not in his life.

    Instead of Ekko getting to see what could have been, Jayce does. He wakes up in another universe after the incident with the Hexgates. He must battle his own selfishness for what is such a beautiful reality, one where Viktor is utterly his.
