Chapter 1: A World Without our Leaders

Chapter Text

A new age has begun, as the world is without its leaders. Optimus Prime has left us. Leaving his remaining Autobots stuck on Earth and under the care of a human named Samuel James Witwicky. A fugitive from every government agency in the United States as well as most of the world. Wanted for the suspected murder of Carly Spencer and for his association with the Autobots.

As the years have gone on, Cybertronians keep arriving on Earth. Too many for humanities liking. Although. Cemetery Wind is no more. A new anti-Transformers group has emerged to take its place. The Transformers Reaction Force. A paramilitary force created by the United Nations. They seek to hunt down all Cybertronians, regardless of faction. Leaving both to go on the run.

The Decepticons have all but vanished from the world. Most are being held by world governments and used as their own weapons of war. But rumors circulate that Megatron is still around. Waiting for the day he can reveal himself to the world once more.

But ... there is a new threat that is emerging and from the Earth planet itself. It goes by many names, the Horns from Hell, the Chaos Bringer. But it mainly goes by Unicron. The great enemy of Cybertron. Now the world tries to stop this threat as more and more Cybertronians arrive to Earth. But can it be done?

...

A group of four kids were walking through the destroyed remains of a suburban area. A recent Cybertronian battle had taken place there many weeks ago, but now it was eerily empty. The group of kids all got a different feeling about the area. Some wanted to stay and other's feared a TRF arrest.

"W-we should go." Said a scrawny and pale skinned child with large glasses.

"Stop being a pussy man." Replied a chubbier and darker skinned child.

"Yeah!" Added another dark skinned child who was the groups leader. "Everything's dead here anyhow."

"What if one is still alive?" Asked the scrawny and pale child. "Wh-what should we do?"

"My dad says to just kill em all and let God sort them out." Replied the group's leader as they continued searching through the abandoned urban area.

The group of kids eventually stumbled upon a Cybertronian ship, with a seemingly offline bot inside. The group of kids began looking over the bot, believing him to be offline. However, the Cybertronian suddenly began moving about erratically. Spooking the kids off. They stumbled off of the ship and into the sights of a tall TRF walker. It trained its laser sight on the kids. Who all panicked and held their hands up in fear.

"Freeze! You are all on government property." Said the TRF walker in a monotone and robotic voice.

Suddenly, an explosion went off on the side of the walker. It stumbled on its feet as a young girl slid into view. She was dirty and had raggedy clothes on.

"Move!" She yelled to the group of boys as she threw another green explosive bottle at the walker.

The bottle managed to knock the walker over and cause it to blow up.

"Run, run!" The girl cried as she led the group of boys into a nearby building.

(Add Izabella introducing herself here)

As Canopy lay on the ground, bleeding profusely. The TRF walker's began to zero in on the children. However, Izabella couldn't care less. Instead crying out for Canopy to get up. However, he couldn't. Instead telling Izabella to flee as his spark faded away. Izabella continued crying out, her mouth open but nothing was coming out. As the children were about to be blasted by the walker, a figure suddenly blasted through the wall of a nearby building. Jumping onto one of the walker's and shooting through it with his arm cannon. It was Bumblebee, second-in-command of the Autobots. Bumblebee then shot down the second TRF walker just as the kids ran away from the scene.

However, they found themselves bumping into the Autobots acting leader, Sam Witwicky. The kids were startled, as Sam, now donning a shaggy brown shirt, tan pants, and black tied boots. His hair had also grown out considerably and his face had grown some stubble.

"What're you waiting for?" Sam asked the kids, "go!" He barked as they began running away. However, Izabella stayed behind. Still begging Canopy to get up.

Sam was saddened to see such a sight, but he knew he had to get the girl out of there. Sam approached her, grabbing onto her arm.

"He's dead, there's nothing you can do." Sam told her.

"B-but ... but I can fix him!"

"No, you can't. I knew the best Autobot medic and even he couldn't fix him. You have to let him go and get out of here."

Izabella wanted to disagree with Sam, but knew deep down that he was right. So, she quickly ran to the other kids as Sam escorted them to a nearby fence so that they could escape.

"Remember, you never saw me." He told them.

"What?" Asked the leader of the group, "of course we did."

"No, I ... ugh, just ... don't mention me or Bee, okay?"

"Oh! You're that guy from the news." Said the chubbier and darker skinned child. "The one the FBI and CIA are looking for."

"No, no, I'm not." Sam said, chuckling at first before instantly becoming serious.

"Yeah, you like murdered your wife or something like that."

Sam's demeanor instantly changed, he came face-to-face with the kid.

"You want to get punched in the face, and not wake up?"

"N-no ..." The kid replied nervously.

"Good, then get the fuck out of here." Sam spat before turning and leaving the kids be.

However, Izabella was curious about the accusations surrounding Sam. So, she stayed in the shadows. Waiting for the right time to follow Sam back to wherever he came from. Sam didn't notice her presence, he was too pissed off about what the kid had said. Despite avenging his wife and helping to put an end to Cemetery Wind, the world government's still listed him as a wife murdering scumbag.

The FBI, Justice Department, and INTERPOL among other law enforcement agencies were hunting him down for his wife's murder. While every intelligence agency in the world was hunting him down for his association and knowledge about the Autobots. The world would rather just sweep the Autobots under the rug and forget about them all. But they were naive, nothing would ever return the world to how it was before the Autobots and Decepticons brought their war to Earth.

As Sam angrily walked towards the downed Cybertronian ship. The bot inside continued to weakly move about, knowing his time on the living plane was almost up. He saw Sam as he stood overhead his ship's canopy. Reaching out to him and handing him a small silver talisman.

"The ... Talisman ... will help ... you. Protect ... you." The bot said weakly.

"Then you keep it," Sam replied as he tried to push the talisman away.

The bot then slowly but surely passed on. His spark extinguishing from within his spark chamber as his green eyes dimly darkened. Signaling that he had joined the Well of All Sparks. Sam sighed somberly as he slowly walked away from the bot. Not noticing the Talisman following behind him. Crawling along the ground.

"He didn't make it, Bee." Sam said into a radio as he walked through the abandoned area.

Suddenly, a flurry of TRF vehicles and personnel surrounded him. Training their guns on him and telling him to get onto the ground. Reluctantly, Sam did so. Putting his hands behind his head and interlocking his fingers.

The group's field commander, Santos, approached Sam. Smirking wickedly at the catch his group had managed to snag.

"Samuel. James. Witwicky." Santos said before kicking Sam across the face.

Sam spit onto the ground as his head wiped to the side. Silently cursing Santos.

"You're wanted by every known law enforcement and intelligence agency in the whole goddamn world, kid. Congratulations." Santos said sarcastically. "The UN is gonna have a field day with you. You know almost every country wants you for one reason or another, right?"

Sam spat onto Santos boots, before smirking.

"Didn't know I was so famous." Replied Sam as he prepared to deal with Santos and his cronies.

Chapter Text

"You think you're a real wise guy?" Questioned Santos. "Well, your little road trip ends today."

Before Sam could respond, the sound of a roaring engine was slowly approaching Sam and the squad of TRF soldiers. The vehicle in question was Bumblebee. His yellow and black 2016 Chevrolette Camero being a dead ringer for him. Most would be scared upon seeing the little yellow bugger. However, Santos was not scared of the Autobot second-in-command. Rather, he saw the Autobot as an easy kill.

"Take him out!" Santos commanded his troops.

Instantly, the men on top of the team's vehicles began firing at Bumblebee with mini guns. In a matter of moments, the bullets ripped Bumblebee to pieces. Causing him to fall apart as he transformed into robot mode. After the dust settled and Santos ordered his men to stop firing. They looked upon Bumblebee's remains. Santos chuckled, believing he had killed the great and mighty Bumblebee with little effort.

"Where's your car now?" Santos asked Sam.

Sam just looked at Santos sternly.

"My car? Its still here." He replied.

Santos eyes widened, before he turned back to Bumblebee. He was about to give his men another order, to fight back. However, he didn't get the chance as Bumblebee began repairing himself. Taking down the TRF soldiers one-by-one. Even Sam managed to tackle Santos to the ground and aim a small Cybertronain pistol at Santos head. Just as Bumblebee managed to pick up one of the TRF soldiers and hold him at gunpoint with his arm cannon.

"Next time you shoot someone, don't go near them till you're sure they're dead." Bumblebee said through his radio voice.

"Get them! Shoot!" Ordered Santos as Sam and Bumblebee held firm. Even Santos' soldiers did not move an inch, unsure of what to do next. "Goddamit, listen to me!" Santos barked. "Kill them!"

"You shoot me, I kill Commander Modesty over here." Sam replied. "And trust me I'm a faster shot then all of you put together."

The soldiers weren't completely sure of Sam's claims. But they didn't want to challenge them either. Fearing it would lead to the death of their field commander. Suddenly, a figure appeared from the shadows. His booming voice calling out to the troops.

"Hold your fire!" He barked, unveiling his mask to reveal his identity as Colonel William Lenox.

Sam's heart dropped upon seeing the colonel once more. It had been so long, it felt like a lifetime since he had last seen him in Chicago. Oh, how things had changed so much since then.

"Lennox?" Sam questioned.

"Sam." Replied Lennox. "Damn, I wasn't intending on meeting this way."

"C-Colonel!?" Cried Santos. "Y-you know this guy!?"

"Know me? We worked alongside each other in Chicago." Sam replied.

"Yep, that we did." Replied Lennox somberly. "But things are different now."

"Are they?" Questioned Sam. "The war is over, but you guys are forcing it to continue."

"Sam, listen to me; this is a new world order and guys way above my pay grade are calling the shots. Its not up to me."

"What would the rest of NEST think?" Sam asked. "What would Epps think of this?"

Lennox's eyes widened in surprise of this question. Before his gaze turned cold.

"Epps is retired, and NEST is disbanded. Their opinion doesn't matter anymore." Lennox replied.

Sam chuckled. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that." He told Lennox before turning and leaving Santos be.

Before anyone could make a move, Hound rolled into view. Armed to the teeth with his mini gun.

"Oh, yeah!" He called. "Sorry I'm late, my invitation to this ass kickin' must've gotten lost in the mail. Call off your birds."

"We're out of here, guys!" Sam called as he threw up a hand signal for the Autobots to retreat from the area.

Santos cursed himself, before calling off his soldiers. Allowing Sam, Bumblebee, and Hound to leave the area unharmed. Lennox then helped Santos to his feet, before getting his hand pushed away by Santos.

"What the hell was that? You just let them go like that?" Santos questioned. "And you never told me you knew this Sam guy. What else have you been hiding from me, Colonel?"

"Hey, take it easy pal." Lennox replied. "I'm not hiding anything from you and besides me and Sam haven't been on speaking terms in a long time."

Santos snored. Not believing Lennox's words fully.

"Well, Colonel, don't forget that you are under my command. These are my men, and you are the army's liaison. So, don't begin barking orders like you command my team. Got it?"

After a long huff, Lennox accepted Santos words. Santos then got on his radio and ordered one of the snipers in the area to tag Bumblebee with a tracking device. The sniper managed to do so. Thusly giving the TRF and any of their associates the exact location of Bumblebee. The TRF squad then retreated from the area, in order to regroup and reorganize for their next move against Sam and the Autobots.

...

A lone police cruiser drove through street's of a locked down city. But this was no ordinary police cruiser, no, this was the Decepticon cop known as Barricade. He drove up to a sitting figure, the figure of Megatron. Barricade transformed to robot mode before bowing before his leader.

"Lord Megatron," he said as he shinned a light on Megatron.

"Get that out of my face." He snarled. "Report. Tell me you have found the talisman."

"I saw it, a dying knight gave it to a human. But there was too much TRF firepower."

Megatron exploded in anger as his fusion cannon fired a concentrated fire blast at the ground.

"You ... let ... the talisman get away!?" He bellowed. "We must have it! Without the talisman, we cannot find the staff."

"I know who can lead us to it." Barricade replied as he threw a broken off door from an armored truck. "The TRF."

...

At a junkyard located in the middle of nowhere, the remaining Autobots were stationed. Drift meditated on top of a top, balancing on one of his swords. While Crosshairs sat nearby and watched him. He then flicked a can at Drift, disrupting his concentration and causing him to fall.

"I'll kill you, rodent!" Drift called out at Crosshairs. Who laughed in response.

"Please, do me a favor." He joked.

Drift then sighed. Not wanting to hear anymore negative words from Crosshairs again as it clashed with Drifts more positive outlook on life. Suddenly, a horn went off on the hut located in the center of the junkyard. Drift and Crosshairs then looked towards the entrance of the junkyard. Watching Bumblebee and Hound pull in, not noticing Izzy and Squeaks entering into the junkyard as well.

"Vamanos! Vamanos!" Izzy called to Squeaks as they hid behind a nearby junked car.

Bumblebee and Hound the skidded to a stop by the hut at the center of the junkyard. A young man then came outside of the hut, visibly tired as he approached Sam. Who exited out of the driver's seat of Bumblebee.

"What's up Jimmy?" Sam questioned as the two approached each other.

"You can't leave me here like this alone for so long." Jimmy replied.

"Oh, come on. Its what I'm paying you for."

"P-paying? Oh, so you're paying me now?" Jimmy stammered.

"Oh, real funny." Sam replied.

"You don't pay me!" Jimmy cried. "You hired me off of a want ad in the Dakota Penny Ledger!"

"I did?" Lied Sam.

"Yes! The senior vice president of all operations."

"I really said that?" Sam questioned.

"Yeah."

"Oh, I made that shit up."

Jimmy sighed. "When you ... leave here. It becomes the wild kingdom."

Sam just began to walk away from Jimmy. Not particularly in the mood to listen to his 'senior vice president'.

"Just ... watch them, okay?" Sam commanded as Jimmy sighed. Being forced to watch the remaining Autobots.

As Sam headed to the office inside of the hut. Izzy approached him.

"Hey! Mister!"

Sam sighed, "oh, come on! No! I don't need anymore strays."

"Hey! I'm not just some stray, man. The names Izabella. Izabella with a z."

"Really? Well, its a good thing I don't care." Sam glared.

"Hey, you don't need to be a prick about this. I can just call the cops on you right now if I so pleased."

Sam then sternly faced Izzy.

"Really? Well, go ahead big shot. See what happens. I'll be gone with my crew before you know it."

Sam then turned away from Izzy and towards a computer with encrypted connection. Allowing him to keep tabs on the FBI, the TRF, and any other agencies that were keeping tabs on him and the Autobots.

"Did you ... really do what ... they say you did?"

Sam briefly looked at Izzy, before looking away.

"Well, did you?" Izzy asked again.

"No, but it doesn't matter. I can never prove it wasn't me, I almost feel like I did do it."

Izzy looked at the ground, not wanting to face Sam. As she wholeheartedly believed what he was saying and felt bad for him.

"What about you, what's your story?" Sam asked.

Izzy sighed, not exactly wanting to relive the memory of her past. But deciding to do so anyway, as she had pressured Sam into talking about his.

"It was during a Decepticon attack. Parents were home, I wasn't. Foster care wasn't happening, so ... I've just been living on my own. Met up with Squeaks and Canopy and I had been living with them until ... well you know."

Sam nodded, remembering Canopy's sacrifice to save Izzy and the kids.

"If it makes you feel any better, I hear that transformers go to a place called the Well of Allsparks or something like that when they die. So, your buddy is out there somewhere in the universe."

This knowledge actually did make Izzy feel some better. Knowing her friend wasn't gone forever and was out there somewhere, even if she couldn't see him right now.

"Hey, I've got some weapon parts that need tinkering. Mind helping me out?"

Izzy smiled. "Sure." She said as the two began working together on the desk of the hut.

...

Meanwhile elsewhere, in a secure room in the Pentagon was General Morshower. Standing in front of a table littered with papers. Lennox approached him, being called down to the room by the general himself.

"This is where I deal with the dark shit." General Morshower sighed.

"What's going on?" Lennox questioned.

"Our intelligence agencies have been monitoring the Horns from Hell as they're being called. Our satellites have spotted a single figure at all of the horns locations."

General Morshower then showed Lennox a group of thermal pictures that displayed the same Cybertronian at all of the locations.

"Its him ... Its Megatron." Lennox replied.

General Morshower didn't answer. But Lennox knew it was him. The machine that haunted his nightmares.

"We've had Decepticon Barricade under surveillance for sometime now." General Morshower continued. "We're planning to observe a possible meeting between the two in a few days."

"Why don't we just take them out with the TRF?" Lennox questioned.

"Because Megatron has snatched up two CIA operatives investigating the horns. We don't know where they're at and we'd rather not have them get killed in a failed rescue mission."

Lennox nodded, knowing what was at stake.

"Oh, what we wouldn't give to have Prime back." General Morshower sighed.

...

Out in deep space, floated the frozen figure of Optimus Prime. As he drifted through the empty black void of space, his body was pulled towards the remains of a metallic planet. A planet known ... as Cybertron.

After crash landing in a ball of fire. Optimus looked around himself. Seeing what remained of his destroyed home. Tarnished by battle scars and strangely bio-organic material.

"What ... has happened to my world?" Optimus questioned.

"Your world is dying, but I can save it." Said a feminine voice from far away. "Come, meet your maker."

Optimus followed the voice deeper into the planet's core. Until he eventually came face-to-face with the slim figure of a robotic woman.

"You are my creator?" Questioned Optimus.

"I am Quintessa, the Prime of Life."

"What have you done to my home!?" Optimus bellowed before he swung his blade at Quintessa.

However, she easily blocked the attack and summoned a handful of chains to wrap around Optimus' arms and disarm him.

"I will kill you!" Optimus barked.

"You dare strike your god!?" Quintessa questioned angrily before slapping Optimus across the face.

A red mark then appeared on the side of his face from where Quintessa had slapped him.

"But that's okay, because you're going to fix your world. Optimus ... Prime." Quintessa smiled as Optimus' normally blue optics turned dark purple. Submitting to Quintessa's power.

Sam looked up at the stars in the sky from the roof his makeshift home. He didn't feel sad, and he didn't feel happy. He felt... tired.

"Hey! What're you doing up here?" Asked Izzy as she climbed up to the roof.

"Oh, just ... star gazing I suppose."

Izzy cocked an eyebrow. "Really?" She questioned. "You don't seem like the type."

"Well, I didn't think I was the type to go on the run from every world government either." Sam sighed.

"Do you think you'll ever be ... you know, free again?"

"Would it make any difference if I was?" Sam sighed painfully. "I mean, I lost my wife and unborn baby. Gaining my freedom back doesn't just undo that shit."

"Well, you can't just sit here and be a lonely hermit either, dude. Complaining about shit you can't change. You've got to try and live a somewhat normal life again."

Sam scoffed. "My 'normal life' ended the night I met the Autobots."

Izzy then sighed as she sat down next to Sam. "I get it, okay? That's exactly what I did for a long while after my parents died. But my new Autobot friends helped me move on with my life."

Izzy then turned to Sam and locked eyes with him.

"Let your friends do that too." She told him.

Sam wanted to answer, but stayed quiet. Izzy then somberly turned and headed down the roof.

"I'm going to bed, m'kay?"

"Yeah, okay." Nodded Sam. "I'll be down soon too."

Izzy smiled before heading down the roof and walking inside Sam's makeshift home.

Sam then turned to look back up at the stars for a brief moment. A wanning thought flowing through his head. He then stood up.

"Hey, Hound! Come over here a sec."

"What's up, Chief?" Hound asked as he waddled over to Sam.

"Bring up the Sat Phone real quick. I want to make a call to him."

"Copy that, partner." He replied before placing a huge green box with a corded phone next to Sam. "You've got twenty seconds, make em count."

Sam nodded, before dialing the number and listening to the phone ring. Finally, a voice came through.

"Hello?" Asked Cade Yeager. "Hello? Who is this?"

Sam didn't answer, but somehow Cade knew it was him.

"Hey, man." He said. "I know you can't quite talk. But ... Tessa is doing fine, she and Shane are still together if you can believe that."

Sam chuckled a bit as he continued listening.

"Oh! I'm doing fine too, I think I might still be on the FBI, CIA, or some other three letter agencies radar. But I've learned to live with it. In any case, I hope you're getting along fine and one day I'm sure that-"

The line suddenly went dead, Sam sighed as he put the phone down.

"Any longer and they would've snagged our location." Hound sighed, seeing the hurt adorning Sam's face.

"It's okay," replied Sam. "I'm going to bed now. See you tomorrow, Hound."

"See you too, Sam." He smiled before turning and leaving, taking the Sat Phone with him.

Sam then crawled down the roof of the makeshift house, before heading inside. He found Izzy sprawled out on his couch. He sighed, this girl was beginning to become a lot more trouble than she was worth. But Sam had begun to also appreciate her presence, Jimmy J. was not a very competent human companion to keep around and Sam hated his complaining nature.

Sam quickly found room at the other end of the couch. Covering up in a blanket and settling in for the night. He then felt a hand grab onto his, it was Izzy. Why was she grabbing his hand. Did she feel ... comfortable around him? Sam was unsure, but decided to push the though out of his mind. He was no one's parent, least of all this stray. Sooner or later she'd move on from him, just like everyone else it seemed.

...

Deep in a barren desert, a handful of unmarked and all-black vehicles sat. Government vehicles to be precise. Most of the occupants were lawyers, with one being the exception. Colonel William Lennox. He looked out into the distance, seeing an approaching jet. But it was not an ordinary jet, it was Cybertronian in danger. He knew this to be Megatron in his new vehicle mode. Lennox then turned to a lawyer that stood nervously next to him.

"You know who they go after first?" He asked her. "Laywers."

The lawyer shook in fear before Lennox patted her on the shoulder. Suddenly, Megatron hovered over the ground and transformed into robot mode. Ejecting the captive CIA operatives within himself. They looked at him with fright, before he roared at them. Causing them to run in terror as Megatron slowly approached the negotiation team.

"Do I know you, human?" Megatron snarled at Lennox.

"Maybe you do, maybe you don't." He replied in a snarky tone. "Point is, let's just get this done."

Megatron chuckled, a first for Lennox to see. He didn't even know Megatron was capable of humor.

"I want my crew back." He told Lennox.

"Well, you're just in luck. We happen to have some in custody. Give me names!"

"Mohawk." Megatron replied.

"Mohawk?" Lennox asked one of the lawyers, who checked over a file before nodding and giving a thumbs up. "He's clear." Said Lennox.

"Dreadbot." Replied Megatron.

A lawyer looked over Dreadbots case file, before reading it out loud.

"Murder, double murder, triple murder ... nine dead in Miami. No." Said the lawyer sternly.

"ARGH!" Megatron yelled as he unsheathed the sword on his back and slammed it on the ground.

"... Um ... if he wears a GPS tracker its fine." Replied another lawyer sheepishly.

"Okay, okay." Lennox said. "Keep going."

"Nitro Zeus." Megatron said.

"As long as he doesn't leave the county, he's clear." Said a lawyer.

"Alright," nodded Lennox. "You get one more."

Megatron sneered, before thinking over his next decision.

"Berserker." He said.

"... Absolutely not." Lennox replied.

"Fine, Onslaught then." Megatron snarled.

One of the lawyers then pulled out his phone before making a call. After a few moments, he then threw up a thumbs up before he and the other lawyers headed back into the vehicles.

"Alright, he's good." Lennox said.

"Excellent." Smirked Megatron as he returned his blade to his back. He then looked down at Lennox. "I am fortunate for you, human, for keeping my Decepticons online."

"Don't thank me, I would've killed you all if I had the chance." Lennox glared.

Megatron chuckled. "Then why didn't you?"

"Wasn't my call. Executive order and all that."

"You were going to use them to fight your battles, huh?"

"What?"

"That's the reason, isn't it? You ran out of Autobots to use so you use them instead. To what? Fight Unicron?"

Lennox didn't answer, confirming Megatron's suspicion.

"What do you know about being used?" Lennox questioned. "You'd let your whole army die to achieve your goals."

Megatron laughed. "So is the way of the Decepticon, human. I embrace my cruelty, I don't run from it like you do."

Lennox was stunned into silence, he hated that Megatron had a point. Lennox worked for the 'good guys'. That was his whole justification for staying on the U.S. Army after NEST got shut down. But hearing Megatron's words, about his cruelty, about the human race's cruelty to the Autobots. It made him think, was he still truly a 'good guy'?

"What do you really want anymore, Megatron?" Lennox asked him sincerly.

"What anyone wants, human. To go home."

"Yeah, I sure know what you mean." Lennox sighed as he turned and walked away from Megatron.

He couldn't believe the position he was in, talking to the leader of the Decepticons like he was an old war buddy. But did Megatron's words hold some weight? He had lived longer than Lennox could possibly comprehend, been to the other side and back. Perhaps, under all of that war torn and brutal metal, was a Spark that had lost its way. But Lennox shook his head, refusing to accept that his race's mortal enemy could be right about anything regarding them. But despite his best efforts, Megatron's words lingered in his head.

...

Sam awoke to the sun shinning in his face. He looked around, seeing that Izzy was gone.

"Where did that brat go?" He thought as he got out of his makeshift home and scanned the junkyard.

"Morning," smiled Izzy as she came up from behind him. Holding a plate of pancakes.

"What the- ... where did you get pancake mix from?" Sam questioned, before Jimmy rushed over to him. Holding his own plate of pancakes.

"Oh, man! You have to try these, she makes a killer dish." He told Sam as he chewed.

Sam wasn't sure, but after seeing the look on Izzy's face he decided to take a bite. The instant the food hit his tongue, his eyes nearly popped out. For being a dirty drifter, Izzy sure knew how to cook.

"Its good," Sam said. Downplaying Izzy's cooking skills.

"Thanks." Izzy replied sarcastically.

Suddenly, a junked vehicle with a huge net with metal parts drove up to the trio. Sam recognized him from the smell alone.

"Daytrader." Sam said.

"Who?" Asked Izzy.

"The most annoying transformer in the universe." Hound said as he and the other Autobots approached the group. "Should I frag him?" He asked Drift.

"Yes, definitely, frag him." Drift replied.

"I heard that, Hound!" Daytrader called as he transformed into robot mode.

Suddenly, a small greenish black metal ball went flying behind him. It then exploded in a sizable cloud of dust.

"OH!" Daytrader called. "Hey! Do you always have to resort to violence right off the bat?"

"Hey, I love violence." Hound chuckled as Drift rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Daytrader!" Sam called. "I thought you were, oh I don't know, banned from here!"

"Not according to your little VP over there." Daytrader chuckled as Sam glared daggers at Jimmy. Who tried to hide behind Izzy.

"Whatever," said Crosshairs. "Did you find our ship?"

"Yeah! I'm waiting to get out of here before I catch a bullet." Added Hound.

"There's a thousand other things that are going to kill you long before a bullet does my stout friend."

Hound then pulled his combat knife.

"Say that again!" He called. "You wanna throw down with the Hound?"

"Hey! Hey! Easy." Daytrader said with his hands up. He then looked down at Sam and saw a metal artifact on his wrist. "Hey, is that a Talisman of the Knights of Iacon?" Daytrader then paused. "No, definitely not. Hey, I'll take if off your hands, free of charge."

"Hey, don't think I don't know what this is." Sam said, surprised to find the Talisman around his wrist. "Yeah! I see you licking your chops, you skank."

"Words hurt, Sam." Daytrader said somberly.

Hound then lightly jabbed Daytrader in the back with his knife.

"Tell em." He said.

"Okay, look. There are seven, count em seven sighs on the apocalypse. That fancy pancake showing up it is numero uno. If that thing was real, I'd find a spaceship and blow this dirt ball planet as quick as I could." Daytrader then sighed. "Alright, I'll be off now." He said as he began walking away, only for a sizable object to fall out of the net on his back.

It was the decapitated head of Starscream, a sight that shook Sam to his core. Remembering back to Chicago and having to put down Starscream.

"Oh, that's where that's been." Chuckled Daytrader. "Look what I found in Buffalo, Starscream's head ladies and gentlemen."

"Just ... get that thing out of here." Sam said coldly before turning and walking away.

Daytrader shrugged, before putting Starscream's head back into his back net, transforming to vehicle mode, and driving away.

"What's your deal?" Izzy asked Sam.

"I just have a previous history with that thing. That's it really." Sam said solemnly and without another word, turned away and left the group alone.

...

A few miles away from the junkyard the Autobots called home. Megatron was rallying his forces together.

"Today, my Decepticons." He said oily. "We hunt. Now: Transformer and rise up!"

The Decepticons then transformed into their respective vehicle modes and headed for the Autobots base.

At the base, the Autobots were none the wiser. Except for Drift, who heard an annoying beeping sound emitting from Bumblebee.

"Bumblebee, what is that?" Drift asked.

Bumblebee shrugged his shoulders, before Crosshairs ripped off a tiny little silver device stuck to Bumblebee's shoulder.

"It's a damn tracker!" Crosshairs called.

Everyone in the junkyard froze for a moment, unsure of what to do.

"Everyone! Haul ass!" Sam cried as everyone scattered.

They attempted to grab everything they could, before they would attempt to escape.

"I can't go to jail man. I can't go to jail!" Jimmy told Sam.

"Would you shut it!?" Sam barked. "I'm more wanted than you are. They probably have shoot on sight orders for me."

"Sh-shoot on what now?" Jimmy stammered as Sam finished loading the supplies into Bumblebee.

"Alright, we roll out now!" Sam called.

"You go on, Sam." Hound said. "I'm gonna buy you some time."

"You sure man? You don't have to be a hero." Sam replied.

"I'm damn sure." Hound nodded.

Sam gave his Autobot friend a salute before hopping into Bumblebee alongside, Jimmy, Izzy, and Squeaks, and pealing out of there.

Drift and Crosshairs followed closely behind Bumblebee as they escaped the junkyard. Not too far behind them were the Decepticons and the TRF.

"Awe man! The Decepticons are about to kick all y'all asses!" Mohawk called as he and Nitro Zeus entered the junkyard.

"I kicked more ass in prison!" He added.

"Search this junkyard!" Megatron commanded as he and his forces scattered.

As Megatron searched the area, he sighed to himself. Barricade noticed this and asked his leader what was troubling him.

"I am unsure, perhaps it is because we are working with these insects." He snarled. "Or perhaps it is because we will soon be home."

"Home?" Asked Barricade. "I thought Cybertron was destroyed."

"It was, but I know of a being who can reshape our world and bring it back to life."

"I see," nodded Barricade.

He did not one hundred percent believe Megatron's words. He witnessed Cybertron being destroyed with his very own optics. Only someone like the Thirteen Primes could fix their home world. However, before he had time to question Megatron's notion any further. An cry rang out nearby. Megatron and Barricade turned their heads to see Dreadbot's head fall from his body. Energon oozing from his neck as his killer stood over him.

It was Hound, combat knife in hand. Mohawk tried to intervene, however, Hound pulled out a shotgun and blasted him back. Megatron then hurried over Hound, who smirked at the sight of the leader of the Decepticons.

"Come and get some you little bitch!" Hound cried as he put away his weapons and pulled out two Uzi's. Blasting them full force at Megatron.

Megatron merely blocked the bullets, before blasting at Hound. He crashed onto his back, his guns going flying as Megatron slowly and methodically approached him. Hound looked up at him, seeing the sun shinning behind his daunting figure.

"Come on, you pussy! Get it over-"

A blast from Megatron's fusion cannon went directly through Hound's head. Killing him instantly and leaving a burning hole in his head as he slumped back against the dirt. Megatron then looked up and outside of the junkyard.

"They're not here." He told his crew.

"How do you know, sir?" Asked Onslaught.

"This one here was left as a distraction. To give the other Autobots time to escape."

"Then where are they?" Asked Mohawk.

Suddenly, a TRF transmission came through their audio receptors. Telling them to head to a nearby town. While Megatron did not care to be ordered around by mere humans. He wanted to finish off the Autobots once and for all. Leaving only Optimus Prime, if he was still online, for Megatron to fight himself.

"Decepticons! Transform and rise up!" He ordered as he and his forces moved out.

...

The Autobots arrived at a nearby abandoned town. They skidded to a stop before letting the humans and Squeaks out and transforming to robot mode. The group looked around the area, before Sam silently signaled them to find shelter. The Autobots hid around buildings, while Sam, Jimmy, Izzy, and Squeaks hid inside of an abandoned store. After a few moments of waiting around, Megatron and his crew arrived.

They transformed into robot mode, with Mohawk proudly announcing their presence. Megatron then commanded them to search the town, before they began scattering.

"Come on out, Sam Witwicky." Megatron snarled. "Make this easier on everyone."

"Yeah, mutha fucka!" Called Mohawk. "We gonna pound you all up into scrap."

"Just like your friend, Hound." Chuckled Nitro Zeus as he fist bumped Onslaught.

The entire Autobot team was distraught at this news. Hound ... dead? It couldn't be. But then again, he was fighting against Megatron and his crew. It wasn't out of the questioned to assume he had been killed.

"Hey, freakshow!" Izzy called as she came out of hiding.

"What the hell are you doing?" Whispered Sam.

But Izzy ignored him, instead walking further towards Megatron to confront him.

"Why are you doing this!?" She cried. "What did these people ever do to you?"

"Get in my way of conquest." Megatron snarled, his crew laughing with him.

"Go to hell!" Izzy barked.

"This damn planet is hell!" Megatron replied before he aimed his fusion cannon at Izzy.

Suddenly, Sam stepped out, aiming a Cybertronian pistol at Megatron.

"Back off!" He called.

"Sam, I need that talisman." Megatron replied. "Give it to me or you die!"

But Sam ignored him, instead firing his weapon at Megatron. Catching him off guard, the Autobots then came out of hiding. Firing at Megatron and his crew. Sam pulled Izzy back as Drift and Crosshairs moved fast, Crosshairs blasted Onslaught into a nearby wall before Drift followed through with a swipe of his katana. Slicing through his neck and sending his head flying.

Barricade transformed into vehicle mode and rushed through the battle zone. Heading for Sam and Izzy as they ran. Sam called out for Bumblebee, who rushed in to fight Barricade. Blasting the ground beneath him and sending him flying into a nearby building. Megatron and Nitro Zeus formed a blockade around each other, hoping to fight off the two Autobots. However, they managed to push them back, with Sam firing from the side.

"Decepticons, retreat!" Megatron called as he and Nitro Zeus ascended into the air.

"Yeah, piss off dickhead!" Crosshairs called as he shot a fist into the air.

"Punk ass." Izzy said under her breath as Sam turned to her.

"Are you pretending to be stupid or are you just that friggin dumb?"

"What?" Izzy asked as she put her hands on her hips.

"Don't go charging at Decepticons like that!" Sam barked. "You're not invincible."

"Oh? When did you become my parent?" Izzy questioned.

Sam paused, did she really just call him her parent? It brought him flashbacks of Carly and their unborn child together. Sam hated being reminded of them, it brought him to much pain. Leaving him a silent and solemn mess. Izzy noticed this and kept her mouth shut.

"Decepticons are gone, Sam." Called Crosshairs. "We're clear."

"O-okay," nodded Sam.

"Perfect timing, Mr. Witwicky." Said a nearby British voice as the group turned to see a tall silver robot standing before them. "My name is Cogman, and your presence is urgently requested."

Chapter Text

"Um ... what?" Asked Sam.

Cogman sighed. "As I said, I am Cogman and your presence is urgently-"

"Yes, yes, I heard you already." Replied Sam. "But who are you?"

"I am Cogman, assistant to Sir Edmund Burton. He is urgently requesting your presence at his home as you possess that." Cogman said as he pointed to the Talisman on Sam's arm. "That Talisman chose you, Sam." Cogman told him. "It is a sign of the coming apocalypse."

"Apocalypse?" Questioned Sam.

"Yes, it is a sign of a rising threat. Please Sam, we must hurry."

"No, I can't just leave my Autobots behind." Sam protested.

"We'll stay behind," said Crosshairs. "Don't worry about us."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure." Replied Crosshairs.

Suddenly, worry began to adorn Drifts face as he continued to try and make contact with Hound. But only got silence in response.

"We must hurry back to base," Drift said. "Hound might be in danger."

"Alright," nodded Sam. "Bee, you're with me. The rest of you stay here."

"No problem," sighed Jimmy.

"Hey, wait!" Called Izzy. "I'm not just going to stand by on the sidelines and let chaos rain down. I'm going to do something about it!"

"Izzy, no!" Sam ordered. "Its not safe for you around me. People always sort of ... pass on, when they're around me."

But Izzy wasn't detoured.

"I want to go. I couldn't save my family from the Decepticons, but now I can save the Earth. Please, let me help."

Sam sighed, he didn't want Izzy to get hurt ... or worse. But he also knew he couldn't fight her. Izzy was a troublemaking brat, if she wanted something she was going to get her way no matter what. So, Sam relented and allowed her to come with. Izzy was ecstatic! Eagerly jumping up and down.

"Stay safe, Sam." Said Crosshairs. "We'll keep in touch."

"Right," nodded Sam. "You too."

Crosshairs and Drift then transformed and drove away, before the remaining team members turned back to Cogman.

"Now that we're all ready to go, let's head out." Cogman told them before turning and leading them away from the abandoned town.

...

Deep in space, the floating crumpled up remains of Cybertron continued to drift through the dark vacuum of the cosmos. On board was Quintessa, her bodyguard Infernocus, and a Optimus Prime. They were all gazing upon a hieroglyphs about the chaos bringer, Unicron, and his relation to Cybertron.

"Now listen; Optimus Prime." She said as she floated next to him. "You must regain my staff for me. Megatron will take care of the Earth forces, but you must take the staff. If we acquire it, then we can make Unicron our slave. Planet's with fall, galaxies with become dust, and the universe will be ours!"

"Yes ... Quintessa." Said Optimus.

"As a Prime it is your duty to protect Cybertron. Earth's fate does not matter. Especially with how they have treated your kind in the past."

Optimus nodded. "Yes, Earth ... will die."

"Good, very good." Smiled Quintessa. "Now, go! My greatest creation, Nemesis Prime."

Nemesis Prime stared off at the blue and green marble that was Earth. His battle mask then transformed over his mouth. If there were any doubt about his new mission, then it faded away from his conscious. As Optimus became the slave of Quintessa. Nemesis Prime.

...

On Earth, Sam, Izzy, and Bumblebee rode in the Cogman's plane. Sam and Izzy rode in the regular seats with Cogman, while Bumblebee rode in vehicle mode in the cargo bay. As Izzy happily stared out of the plane window, amazed at the distant ground below. Sam was listening to a communication with Drift. His face suddenly grew grim, before he burst into tears.

"No ... No!" Sam cried as he grabbed at his face.

"Sam ... what's wrong?" Asked Izzy.

"He's ... he's gone." He replied.

"What? Who is?" Questioned Izzy in a panic.

"Hound, he was killed by that bastard! Megatron."

Cogman shuddered at the mere mention of the champion of Kaon. While Izzy froze, she had just gotten introduced to Hound not too long ago. Now his spark was one with the Well of All Sparks. The Autobots had lost another top soldier. Now they only had Bumblebee, Drift, and Crosshairs left. At least; that they knew of. Optimus was still MIA and it seemed like everything was falling apart.

"Sam ... its okay." Said Izzy as she sat next to him and rubbed his back.

"No, the fuck it isn't!" Sam barked. "Another friend of mine is gone, fuck!"

Tears streamed down Sam's cheeks as Izzy attempted to comfort him. However, nothing seemed to work. Sam was in ruins. He was being pushed beyond his breaking point. All this loss, all of this death. Its toll on his mind had furthered to where he was now.

"Mr. Witwicky," said Cogman. "I have dealt with great loss myself."

Sam looked up, his watery eyes staring aimlessly at Cogman as he continued to speak.

"I have watched many masters of mine pass, I have also lost my planet. But ... you know what keeps me going?"

Sam shook his head.

"The people I still have with me. If you can remember and cherish who you have left in your life, then you can work through your pain."

Sam didn't respond, he just sat back against his seat and peered out of the window of the plane. He was too distraught by everything that had happened to him in the last couple of years. He just wanted a break from it. But yet, it seemed like fate was continuing its devastating path to ruin every day of his life. To take more of what he had left. When would it all end? Was the question on his mind. He had begun thinking that maybe the end of the world wasn't so bad.

No! He couldn't think like that. That wasn't the Witwicky way. 'No sacrifice, no victory'. That was their family modo. Some family modo, to Sam it didn't mean much when he was the only known member of his family left. Sam wanted to give up, to call it quits. Maybe after this one last adventure, he would. As he closed his eyes, he let the world fade away from his view as he went to sleep.

...

Elsewhere, Doctor Viviane Wembly had just finished her tour of an English museum. Recounting the tales of Merlin and Sir Arthur and his knights. However, when she entered her vehicle, she discovered an envelop in the passenger's seat. She leaned over, picked up the envelope with curiosity, and opened it up. Inside, she discovered a letter. She did not know from who.

"Dear Doctor Wembly," she read. "The Order of the Witwiccans requests your immediate presence."

Suddenly, the doors in her small car locked. Vivian began to panic, trying to open the doors. However, they were firmly shut tight. Her car then sped off, she began yelling for help. That was, until a voice spoke through the car radio.

"Madame," the voice said in a French accent. "Be quiet and sit down."

Vivian's eyes widened as she realized that the car, her car, was a Cybertronian.

"Who ... who are you!?" She screamed before she was suddenly launched into the truck of the car.

As she found herself enveloped in darkness, she continued to try and fight her way out. But the Cybertronian kidnapper was not letting up, speeding down the freeway at breakneck speeds.

"Madam, I insist you settle down." Said the voice of Vivian's captor.

"Who the bloody hell are you!?" Vivian barked. "Soundwave? Shockwave? At least tell me you're one of the cool ones."

"I am so much better than all of them." Replied the kidnapper as he noticed a black and orange Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 Spec V pass by him.

He quickly scanned it and transformed into the alternate mode. Very please with the new alternate mode.

"I love this car!" He cried as he sped down the road at an even faster pace.

...

"Sam, Samuel." Said a calm and feminine voice that Sam recognized.

He peered around at his surroundings, finding himself at the old farm house that Carly and him used to live at. He then turned around and discovered the ghostly figure of Carly standing behind him. She was just as beautiful as he remembered, wearing the long, white dress she wore on their wedding day.

"C-Carly ..." Stammered Sam, tears streaming down his face.

Her hands gently rubbed his face, a warm smile on her face as a blinding light shown behind her. Was this the afterlife?

"Listen to me, Samuel." Carly told him. "You must defend the Earth. Please don't give up."

"N-no," Sam said. "I want to be with you. Please ... let me."

But Carly shook her head.

"Not yet, Sam. You have been to the Afterspark before. You know I will remain there, until the day your mission is complete."

Carly then began to slowly fade away, Sam cried out to her begging her to stay with him. But his cries fell silent when a faint kiss was planted on his lips.

"I love you, Samuel." Whispered Carly.

...

Sam suddenly awoke, he searched the interior of the plane. As if his mind hadn't registered that he wasn't with Carly anymore.

"Hey, dude." Izzy said as she stood next to Sam. "We've landed, come on lets go."

But Sam was still trying to process what had just happened. Had he really been to the Afterspark and seen Carly? Was that real? It had felt as real as when he met the Dynasty of Primes a long time ago. But ... his mind was still filled with doubt.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Questioned Izzy.

"Its ... its nothing." Replied Sam, a dismissive look on his face. "Let's go."

Without another word, Sam pushed past Izzy and left the plane. Izzy quickly followed after him and into the backseat of Bumblebee with Cogman and Sam. The trio then drove off, racing towards an estate deep in the British country side.

When they arrived, they discovered the estate was a large castle. Outside, at the front door was an old man with a cane and a tank rolling next to him. When Bumblebee skidded to a stop in front of him, Cogman, Sam, and Izzy piled out of him before he transformed into robot mode. Upon seeing the raggedy group, the old man smiled.

"Ah, Cogman! You've returned." Said the old man.

"As always, my lord." Cogman nodded dutifully.

Suddenly, the tank next to the old man fired. Blasting at the group. However, his aim was insanely off. Instead striking the field next them.

"Bulldog!" Barked the old man. "We have guests."

Bulldog then transformed into robot mode, complaining about how his bits and pieces were falling off.

"What the hell?" Asked Bumblebee sarcastically.

"Yeah, Bee. What the hell did we walk into?" Sam added.

"Ah, where are my manors?" Smiled the old man. "I am Sir Edmund Burton. I am the owner of this estate."

"Sam Witwicky," Sam said as he shook Sir Edmund's hand. "This is Izzy and Bumblebee."

"Nice to meet you both." Smiled Sir Edmund. "And good to see you too, Bee."

However, Bumblebee looked confused. Not recognizing Sir Edmund at all.

"So ... is this like a Transformer retirement home or something?" Izzy asked bluntly.

"Something like that." Joked Sir Edmund.

"So ... why are we here?" Questioned Sam. "I know the little freak show over there said you 'requested me' but still."

"Freak show?" Whispered Cogman in confusion.

"Mr. Witwicky," said Sir Edmund. "I have brought you here because-"

Sir Edmund's voice trailed off as the roar of a car approached the estate. Everyone turned and saw the black and orange Lamborghini drive up to the group.

"A little much," Sir Edmund muttered in annoyance.

The vehicle then skidded to a stop before Vivian raced out of it. Only to trip and fall down the hill next to the driveway.

"Come on, Hot Rod!" Called Sir Edmund.

"She's very difficult, sir!" Replied Hot Rod in annoyance as he transformed into robot mode.

Sam quickly raced down the hill to help Vivian, skidded on the dirt and grabbed her arm.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes, yes, I'm ..." Vivian's voice trailed off as she and Sam locked eyes.

"... Fine?" Chuckled Sam.

"Huh? O-oh, yes." Vivian smiled back. "Thank you. Now ... where the hell am I!?" She screamed, nearly deafening Sam in the process.

"Doctor Wembly!" Called Sir Edmund as she and Sam turned to look up at him. "Follow me inside and I will explain."

Without another word, Sir Edmund turned and left the group. Forcing the humans and Cogman to follow him inside while Bumblebee and Hot Rod stayed outside and listened in through a window. Inside the castle, Sir Edmund gave the group a tour. Showing them his priceless Cybertronian technology and trinkets.

"Wow ..." said Sam. "Its like a Transformer hall of fame, eh?"

"How very true, Mr. Witwicky." Smiled Sir Edmund.

The group were then led into a small living room, where Sir Edmund sat down. Cogman stood at his side while Sam and Izzy sat on a couch and Vivian sat on a sofa.

"So," said Vivian. "Why am I here? Why is there a child here?"

"Child?" Asked Izzy. "I am not a child."

"Really?" Questioned Vivian. "Well, how old are you then?"

"Not as old as you saggy tits." Izzy spat.

"Hey, hey, Izzy." Sam said calmly as he tried to get her under control.

"You need to teach your daughter to mind her manners." Vivian said in annoyance.

"Daughter!?" Cried Sam and Izzy before they began trying to explain that they were not father and daughter, however, their angered voices only managed to talk over each other and drown out each other's words.

"Alright, alright, alright!" Boomed Sir Edmund, silencing everyone in the room. "Let's get some introductions out of the way. I am Sir Edmund, owner of this estate. This is Samuel James Witwicky, um ... Izzy, is it? And Doctor Vivian Wembly, Professor of English Literature at the University of Oxford in London. Good? Good. Now that, that is all out of the way. I have brought all of you here because the world is ending."

Silence filled the room as everyone stared at Sir Edmund.

"Wow ..." said Sam. "Way to let us down easy."

"Hush!" Barked Sir Edmund. "I'm not done yet."

"Wait," said Vivian. "How do you know the Earth is ending? I mean; I know those horns have been appearing around the globe, but ... scientists don't think it is anything major."

Sir Edmund laughed.

"Oh, Doctor." He said, "how naive you are. These ... horns, are no mere geological phenomenon. No! They are the horns of Unicron."

"Unicron?" Asked Sam and Bumblebee, Hot Rod, and Cogman all fell eerily silent upon hearing the name of Unicron. "Who is that?

"A demon of the cosmos who devours entire planets for energy." Replied Sir Edmund. "You remember The Fallen, correct?"

"How could I not?" Asked Sam.

"Well, Unicron is much, much worse than he ever could be." Sir Edmond said ominously.

"So ... is there anything we can do about him?" Asked Vivian.

"We must find a staff," said Sir Edmund. "It contains the life force of Unicron inside of it. If we can destroy the staff or purge his lifeforce from it, then we can save the entire multiverse."

"Okay," nodded Izzy. "But where is this staff?"

"We do not know." Replied Sir Edmund somberly. "Only Doctor Wembly's father knows."

Vivian perked up. "My father? But ... he's been dead a long time."

"Yes, I know." Replied Sir Edmund. "But his notes can tell us his story. He was once a member of the Order of the Witwiccans."

"The Order of the Witwiccans?" Asked Sam.

"Yes," nodded Sir Edmund. "After your great-great-grandfather discovered Megatron frozen in the Arctic, a group of rogue government agents founded the Order of the Witwiccans as a way to investigate Cybertronians outside of the chain of governmental command. What was once a United States group, formed into a global group. Before eventually being dissolved by the government and Sector Seven as a means of keeping the Cybertronian race a secret. Now, I am all that remains."

The group was in silent awe at Sir Edmund's words. Sam especially was shocked. Not realizing how deep his great-great-grandfather's discovery was to the world. His expression then turned sour.

"If only that old fart hadn't found Megatron." Sam angrily thought. "The world would be normal and Carly would be alive!"

Suddenly, Cogman rushed to a nearby window. Picking up something everyone else wasn't.

"Cogman," said Sir Edmund. "What is it!?"

"MI5, TRF, and NCA are here!" Cogman yelled.

"Everyone!" Called Sir Edmund. "We must go. Vivian, Sam, Izzy, find that damn map. I'll meet back up with you all soon."

"Wait!" Cried Sam. "Where are you going?"

But Sir Edmund didn't respond, only smiling before scurrying away with Cogman. Sam didn't have time to question this as he was already running out of the castle with Vivian and Izzy. Things had just gone upside down for Sam once more. The story of his life. He just hoped this old guy was really trustworthy, because if he wasn't then they were all screwed. Sam just had to trust his gut for now and hope that they could all make it out of this alive.
