"What if I mess up?" Roman asked nervously as Janus was helping him tie his tie. "You'll be fine Your Highness it's your first rehersal and you're still reading on script." Janus assured his husband as he finished tying the tie and started gently fixing his hair. "I know but this is my dream role Jan what if they change their minds and give it to my understudy?" Roman added which caused his bowler hat wearing husband to stop what he was doing and carefully cup his cheeks.
"Darling you got the role for a reason they're not gonna do that and even if they did I will most certainly have a nice long chat with your stage director... You've done many shows before and you got them all because you've always been a good actor. You're gonna kill it out there and once opening night comes I'll take you out to that restaurant you love so much and we can get ice cream after to celebrate."
"3 scoops with rainbow sprinkles?" Roman playfully asked feeling better. "The most delicious of 3 scoops with rainbow sprinkles Darling." Janus chuckled and gently kissed his husband's forehead and lips which caused the neatly dressed man to giggle and return the kisses.
"Sounds like a plan My Love and thank you."
"Of course Dear now you better get going before you're late because I wanna hear all about my future Broadway star's day when he gets home."
"Alright alright see you soon Hun I love you."
"I love you too Darling."
Janus gave Roman one final kiss before his husband left the house and drove off to work. The bowler hat wearing man had a plan the moment he knew what day of the week it was so he quicky got ready and started walking to a house he loved paying a visit to. Once he finally reached the front door, he knocked and was happy to see that Logan answered and was in fact home. "Hello there Neighbor~" Janus playfully greeted leaning on the doorway which caused the bespectacled man to playfully roll his eyes in return. "Dear we've been married for 3 years, you don't need to keep addressing me by that." "You're right, I'll be sure to address you as Mr. Phoenix Pryce Dolion next time." Janus teased. "You busy?"
"Not really. I just got some paperwork done so I should be free for the rest of today."
"Perfect."
Janus stepped inside the house and the moment Logan closed the door the bowler hat wearing man immediately dragged him to the couch and pulled him to his lap and started kissing him lovingly. "What's this for?" Logan asked briefly breaking away from the kiss which only made Janus pull him closer and kiss him more. "Missed you..." Janus murmured against his husband's lips. "Missed you too..." Logan murmured back tangling his fingers in Janus' hair as they were kissing. The two soon later pulled away to catch their breath and once they did, Janus started to rub his husband's back which made him immediately rest his head on his chest and sigh leaning into the touch.
"I wish work wasn't so constantly busy so I can move in with you guys..."
"I know Starling and you absolutely will be able to move in with us one day but at least we have the weekends with you."
"That's true. Plus I have a feeling I'm one step closer to that promotion so that one day shouldn't be too long from now."
Janus adored seeing the growing excitement and hope in his husband's eyes. Truthfully Logan's boss secretly told him and Roman the exact date he would be getting the promotion and the two made sure to have an entire day planned to celebrate and spoil their husband rotten. "And you absolutely will get it Dear because you're... Smart... Hardworking... Organized..." The bowler hat wearing man peppered the bespectacled man's face with kisses after each praise causing Logan to blush and playfully push his husband's face away.
"Stooop!"
"Hmmm no~" Janus teased which made Logan chuckle. "So what do you wanna do now Starling? I know I was the one who came here but I wanna make sure what you're in the mood to do for relaxing after you've just finished a bunch of work." The bowler hat wearing man asked caressing his husband's cheek. "Is TV okay?" Logan asked back. "Of course Dear." Janus replied and gently kissed Logan's forehead before turning on the TV and watched mystery movies with him for most of the day until they both suddenly heard a familiar voice.
"I cannot believe this!" Roman dramatically gasped at the sight that he was witnessing from the doorway. "Oh boy look what you've done Dear." Logan teased. "You two are having an affection session without me? Unacceptable!" Roman playfully crossed his arms and fake pouted.
"There's still room for one more Your Highness."
"I mean if you insist." Roman teased and didn't waste a second to quickly join Logan in Janus' lap and was satisfied when both of his husbands peppered his face in kisses. "How'd your first rehersal go Dearheart?" Logan asked holding Roman's hand. "Oh it went amazing My Love! At this rate I'm gonna be taking everyone's roles. Roman teased again. "Does this mean we're finally getting 'Roman The Musical'?" Janus playfully asked.
"Only if you two volunteer to play the love interest!"
"I think you know perfectly well that's an absolute 'yes' Dear."
"Excellent! I'll be sure to add as much kissing scenes as possible then!" Roman playfully clapped. "Oh then lucky for you Your Highness we'll have plenty of practice." Janus replied winking which made Roman both blush and laugh with his husbands.
The three spent the rest of the day talking and watching movies together and although they haven't moved in together yet, having each other was the only home they needed.
