Summary
Truthfully, Giyu has missed these…meetings. He enjoys the moments they share, rare as they are. He’s missed the warmth of Sanemi beside him, the way their bodies seem to fit together so naturally, the sound of his name whispered in the dark. But when the night ends, it always leaves Giyu feeling strange—like he’s chasing something just out of reach. He feels almost used, in a way.
It’s a foolish thought, and Giyu knows it. This is what they agreed to when this whole affair started—but the feelings linger regardless. He’s imagined ending things more than once, cutting Shinazugawa off before these feelings can deepen, but every time Giyu imagines walking away, something holds him back.
If it destroys him, then so be it. There are worse ways to break, he supposes.
