Summary
Stephen Strange leaned back in the comfortable armchair in his private room, the soft light from the table lamp shining on the book he had just snatched from Wong. A triumphant smile appeared on his face as he flipped through the ancient pages, smelling the scent of old paper mixed with a bit of magic hidden in each word.
But that smile soon disappeared when he stopped at a torn page. And like the Dormammu incident, he opened the Eye of Agamotto to restore the page.
This time no one stopped him, the torn piece of paper was recreated. But as soon as the complete page appeared, a powerful magical power burst from the book, spreading throughout the room.
The book fell to the floor with a heavy "thud". The green light from the magic extinguished, leaving the room empty. The wind from the window gently blew through, shaking the pages of the book.
The restored page opened, displaying ancient writing that automatically translated into modern language, reading:
“Companion.”
Just below the title was a note:
