Summary
Elowyn "Lo" Prescott finds herself in the midst of an adventure of a lifetime. She was abducted by mindflayers and given a parasitic tadpole in her head. She must work together with the people she finds along the way in hopes of ridding herself of this blight. At the time of her abduction, she was mourning the loss of her mentor, Judd. She must quickly learn how to adjust to life without him while simultaneously being thrusted into the unknown. Judd always taught her to not let her emotions get the better of her, but without him, she begins to struggle with everything that she was taught. Despite how hard she tries to outrun her feelings, they begin to catch up to her, making her realize that perhaps her mentor wasn't so right after all.
