   Summary

"And then, near the opposite wall, strapped to an operating table and surrounded by instruments of experimentation, was a man. His eyes were glassy, staring at no one and nothing, and he was mumbling something to himself. Loki wasn’t even sure the prisoner had noticed him — he didn’t indicate anything at all, even when Loki leaned over him, just repeated the same mantra over and over."

Or: Loki is sent to Earth in 1943 to retrieve the Tesseract. It doesn't go as planned.
