A Fragile Miracle

Summary:

What a lovely secret romance you have! Would be a shame if someone...broke it.

This week's GOetry prompt was "miracle", the form "sijo". Thanks to isiaiowin as always.

Sijo is a Korean poetic form consisting of 44-46 syllables, traditionally structured as a three-line poem with 14-16 syllables per line. Each line features a pause near the middle. Sijo were originally written as songs and often accompanied by music. They typically focused on themes of nature, spirituality, or the metaphysical.
The basic pattern of the syllable count in a sijo is as follows:
Line 1: 3 4 4 4
Line 2: 3 4 4 4
Line 3: 3 6 4 3

Together, a miracle, so powerful they’d raise the dead.
 How, you ask? They do not know. They sought only to protect their
 fragile peace. Eons of hidden love made them strong; now, I break them.
