It was a rocky reunion, to say the least. Usually, when they had gone ages without seeing each other, it took them no time at all to find their groove again. This time, however, it took hours of awkward silence and at least four bottles (each) of a 1947 Cabernet Sauvignon. That’s what happens when the last time you saw someone you had your worst argument in 6000 years. Or something like that.

Summary
The world had been saved, again - for the third time in a decade. Crowley and Aziraphale had seen Jesus off, thanking Him and bidding Him farewell, and as much as Crowley genuinely liked the bloke, he never hoped to see Him again. Frankly, he was hoping the third time was the charm, with regard to saving the world, and they might have a little peace now.
That, however, was entirely contingent on the angel who was standing in his bookshop, looking around with an expression of gentle bliss. Crowley loved that look on his face, wanted to see it all the time. But even though the world was safe, the air was thick with things that needed to be said, apologies that needed to be made, and a confession that needed to either be retracted or returned.
Crowley genuinely didn’t know which it was going to be.

Before he could say anything, Aziraphale's hands were on him. Aziraphale adjusted his tie, and placed it correctly. Crowley felt like Aziraphale's hands burned through his outfit and touched his heart—or where his heart would be if he had one.

5 times Aziraphale found an excuse to touch Crowley, and 1 time Crowley got his revenge.
