(OR again, the author wrote this and wanted to post it in February but was too lazy to wait)

Notes:

I am not German, so sorry if I offend anyone with the plot of Eren who don't know what Valentine is. You can interpret it instead as Eren just being an idiot

(Also, srry, the writing app I use kept having bugs so there are maybe big spaces between paragraphes or the opposite😭)

Chapter 1: Accidental confession

Chapter Text

The surroundings of Eren were currently all in pink. Amd Eren had no idea of the reason.

No matter where he looked, hearts, teddy bears and the colors red and pink were present at every millimeters. At one shop, there was a cardboard on which 'Valentine' was written.

Was it a holiday here? Like Christmas?

"Eren!"

The teenager didn't even had the time to turn around before a girl was already gripping him. Behind them was his best friend, Armin, looking exhausted from the apparent marathon.

Mikasa, like usual, looked so calm and indifferent. Except with him.

Which was annoying.

A few years ago, the family of Mikasa died in a car accident. And so, she got into an orphanage before getting adopted by the Jägers. Coming only at japan for a family trip, they came back in Germany with a girl.

That was how he now had a sister.

They came this year back at japan for their father. Fortunately, almost everyone was fluent in japanese. But it remained confusing sometimes.

Put simply, Mikasa was basically their teacher in japanese culture.

"I'm fine, guys. Stop treating me like I'm a little kid!"

Instead of responding like a normal person, Mikasa decided to give him her jacket.

"Eren, you have to be careful. You could get sick."

"Can you stop? You're not my mom, remember?"

Armin gave an exasperated sigh as Eren gave her back her jacket, frustrated, but the two relented.

After Mikasa calm down, the trio walked like usual to their new school. It was big amd luxurious, but after some time, they got used to it.

However, when it came into Eren's view, he noticed many decorations were put on the windows.

"What's all this about?"

"About what?"

"Well, all these hearts and stuffs."

Armin gave him an unimpressed look.
"You'll have to be more specific."

"Gosh. I'm talking about these hearts and pink things all around."

Mikasa looked at him with sightly flushed cheeks.

"You mean Valentine?"

"Yeah."

Her hands gripped her uniform tightly whike she looked down on the floor. Eren knew that habit: She embarrassed. But why?

"Well, it's an holiday to...confess at the people you admire and respect."

Armin looked at her with pity for a reason unknown.

"Oh, okay. Well, what do I do?"

Mikasa was lost in thoughts, paying no more attention to the current conversation. Armin looked defeated, but relented to answer Eren instead.

"You can give roses?"

"Roses? Really?"

"Um..You can also buy chocolate for that person?"

"Chocolate, huh? Do you want to confess to someone?"

Armin's cheeks went pink.

"No. And you?"

The brunet pondered for a few seconds.

Someone he admired...
Someone he respected...
Someone he considered as his model and idol...

"Yes. I have an idea on who."

As soon as the bell of the second period rang, everyone left the class. Apparently, Eren wasn't the only one excited to confess to his model.

When he left the class, his mission started.

Looking for Levi Ackerman.

Since the beginning of this year, the moment he moved in japan and that the school year started, he heard about him everywhere he went.

He was known for being a pro at basketball.

Yes, he was short.

But anyone judging him only by his height would soon regret when actually facing him.

He did karate since he was ten.

He had two friends into the Student Council.

He was great at everything he did (besides in english, math and history and everything that had to do with grades)

But most importantly, he was cool.

And everyone admired him. Or feared him.

He had more respect than any teachers ever did in this damn school.

That is why Eren showed up at the empty field, twenty minutes before their practice started.

The brunet knew the captain showed up early for some reason after having his lunch.

Making it the perfect occasion for the junior.

"Levi."

When he called his name, the other turned at him with an impassible face. Indifference and maybe even annoyance was painted all over his body language.

"Jäger."

He greeted him in his own way before turning back to tying his shoes.

"Captain Levi—"

"Why are you calling me that? You're not even into basketball."

"Dunno. Anyway,"

The upperclassmen looked back at him, letting out a sigh.

"Levi, please accept these chocolates."

He gave him these, not being able to restrain his excited smile. He knew that he wasn't really attractive when he laughed or smiled, making Levi probably think this fan was a weirdo, (Jean, Connie and Sasha told him as such).

Yet, he couldn't stop his childish excitement when facing his idol.

"...."

"...Levi?"

Instead of nonchalantly accepting his gift or throwing it away, like Eren expected, Levi just looked stunned. His lips were parted, eyes widened, looking shocked.

"What?"

"Levi, I know that you probably got a lot of others gifts from uh..people. But I still want to give me. You have always been an idol for me. I mean, you're strong, determined and loyal towards your loved ones. I know you don't care about who I am, but I still wanna offer you this 'cause—"

An alarm stopped him mild sentence. Annoyed, he took it, murmuring a brief "sorry", before answering.

"What?"

"Eren, where are you?"

Unsurprisingly, it was Armin who called with Mikasa by his side. The brunet could hear the muffled voices of Reiner, Connie and Sasha talking and laughing.

He loved his friends. He really did. But right now, he wanted to cut their head off.

"I'm busy."

"For what—"

"Eren, where are you? We're worried about you."

"Great..."

Eren rolled his eyes, massaging his temple. They just had to interupt his time with his model, Levi fucking Ackerman.

"Not the time. I'm busy."

"Are you with someone?"

"Holy shit", the voice of Reiner was heard faintly in the background.

"Yeah. But—"

"Who are them? If they hurt you, you have to tell us. Is it Thomas again?"

"What are you talking about? No, I'm with Levi."

As soon as he said that, a heavy silence reigned, both with Eren and Levi, and his friends at the phone.

"You're with WHO??"

"I'll call you later."

The yells of his friends got cuff of when he hung up.

"Um, sorry about that. Anyway, just wanted you to understand that I admire you. And that if you don't mind, you can take this."

Instead of anything that the brunet ever expected, the other stayed silent. He looked out of it. Eren thought he was starting to hallucinate when he noticed the shocked expression. Even more with the rosy cheeks.

Levi didn't take his chocolate, looking back at him.

The junior stood there akwardly, waiting for any type of responses. It didn't even seem like the captain noticed what happened or what he said.

"Are you...Is this a joke?"

"Excuse me?"

The mouth of Levi opened and closed a few times.
But Eren didn't care. He was offended that he couod believe he was playing him.

"No. Of course not. I'm honest."

"Did you meant everything you said?"

The brunet flinched when the raven suddenly stood up. He looked so shocked. So dreamy. So hopeful. Maybe even excited in his own way.

"Yeah. Of course. I meant every words."

It was Eren's turn to be stunned. Levi was blushing.
Blushing.

The junior had to look down at the other to catch the eyes of the shorter. He was so unlike usual, being unsure and akward.

"I...I feel the same."

"What? I'm your idol?"

Levi looked back at him as if he was stupid, but also looked for no reason so embarassed. The older student turned to his right to take from his backpack a small box of chocolates.

"That's for you."

"Me? Why?"

"Don't force it out of my mouth. You know what I mean."

"But I don't—"

"Tonight. Seven o'clock. At the restaurent Paradise. And we're both gonna pay our own."

"Tonight?"

Levi continued talking as if Eren never said anything in the forst place, his words coming out fast. So much that the brunet had trouble understanding.

Swiftly, he took in a rush his own phone and gave it to Eren.

"Take my number. Don't bother to give yours, I already know it."

"You what?"

"Do it."

The glare sent his way immediately reminded him that it was more of an command than an offer. Submitting to the other's order and silent threat, Eren noted the numbers on his phone as a new contact.

"Hurry up and leave. My team is gonna arrive soon."

"Uh, ok."

Right now, Eren preferred to leave. Just why was Levi so agitated.

The brunet turned around to walk (sprint) back inside the school before a panicked 'wait' yell came behind him.

When he did look behind him while slowing down, he was surprised to see that even Levi was shocked of his own words.

"...Tell me if you don't want this. Or push me."

"Want what?"

His confusion got even worse when the raven was on his tiptoeing to rest his lips on his. Yes. Tiptoeing.

The kiss was incredibly short, as if both were still in muddle school, before Levi pushed him away.

"Scarm. Now. And don't you dare forget about tonight."

Eren was too dumbfounded to respond or process his words before he heard Levi's name being shouted frok his comrades. With the murderous glare thrown from the raven, the junior didn't hesitate to run away, a tail between his legs, holding in one hand the box of chocolates from theLevi Ackerman.
