Chapter Text
It was a new start for law. It's a way to help him forget his past what happend to his parents. It's Cora San's way of taking care of him and his sister. His sister was still small, she understood that their parents are no longer with them and they are alone but she wasn't old enough to stop crying and look for a way to get through alone. Law was glad that Cora San came to adopt Lami and him. He was a kind man and took care of them. (His smile was freaky but Law loved it. It made his feel as he can rely on Cora San)
Law stood there in front of the school gate. The school he was suppose to attend. He wasn't exited he wanted to get this over with. He hated starting over. It's hard. Making new friends, thinking of ways to talk, thinking of topics. Too much work. If he can get through the first day he's stisfied. Lami was going to a all girls school not his school. But he knew Lami would be ok. She was a cute and kind little girl.
Law went through the gates. He saw kids his age looking at him with interest. He just kept walking. He felt a little dizzy. Too much people and they were all concentrated on him. But he kept going he was going to turn 10 next month. He's a a big kid now not a baby. He can do this. He kept going forward but his anxiety key rising. It's been like this since the day that mass murder that took place in Flevance his home town in North Blue. Him and his sister and 3 other people where the only surviours. The whole city was erased form existence. Law wasn't old enough to know what happend or why it happened and he doesn't care. He's scared he feel as if it's going to happen again. What happened that say will happen again when he see big crowds. He when to those mental health care centers for children with Cora San. It helped but right now everyone's concentration on him didn't help that much.
Suddenly he felt a hand touch his shoulders his heart beat rose. He slowly looked behind. Small boy with green hair was looking at him with concern. He felt the sweat dripping down his hands, law whipped them and fully turned to the green haired boy. ("Odd color for hair").
"Umm are you ok. Is it hard to breath. Do u want to go to school nurse."
" No I'm ok. It's just ......... Not used to crowds."
The boy smiled at him. His eyes scrunched up and his teeth were visible.
"It's ok. My mom had that. She was scared of crowds and never went out. My daddy took care of her. It's ok you want to come with me. Your new right I'll take you to the school office."
Law just nodded. He didn't know what to say And he didn't want to talk. Even to say thank you. He should later but now he felt exhausted.
Law knew he just got here and didn't know the way around but he isn't dumb enough to not know when they just keep walking in the same corridor round and round. He wasn't going to question the boy. But is he playing with him or is he also knew. What is going on.
"This looks familiar did we come here before. This building keep changing everyday. Why can't they stay the same. Schools just want to confuse us. You should be careful. Ohhh I forgot to ask what's your name??? I'm Zoro"
Law looked at the boy confused. What the hell was this guy talking about. What do you mean keep changing. Is he like playing g games or something. He remember the Arc in Soba mask comic series there was a part where the roads key changing. But that's not going to happen in real life is it.
"Law" he ignored the boys comments and just answered his question.
"You doesn't seem to like to talk much huhh. Robin doesn't like talking that much but sometimes she says creepy stuff. And all the other friends I have are too loud."
"Oh"
"Yeh you will like them. Their fun. It's boring when you don't have talkative people in your life. That's what my mom used to say to me. My dad is quiet that's why. It'll be fun when you meet them. Ohhhh we can even play pirate."
"Hmmmm"
The little boy looked at him. His eyes were sparkling but they had a hint of concern and embarrassment.
"Did I talk too much. Im sorry if it annoys you. I was exited to see someone knew. I think it's fun to have someone who's quiet. Nami siad they are smart and kind. And I think your kind too"
He smiled again. It made law feelt warm inside. That smile reminded him of Cora San.
"No I'm not annoyed. It's just everything is new and it like ...."
"Got it it's ok. Usopp was like that too on his first day here. Hehehe. Ohh look it's the office."
The boy dragged him inside. A tall teacher with white hair tahts grown untile his neck And a scar near his eye turned to look at him.
"Ohh Zoro how are you?? What you doing here. Hmm is that the new kid that's going to be starting school here today. What was your name again"
He started going through some papers.
"right Trafalgar D. Law. Hmmm interesting. D huhh."
"What about it??"
Law asked the teacher.
"It's nothing. Just too much D's in this school I guess. Anyway your class is Grade 6-F. You guys should go now"
" Ace and Sabo is in that class too. You will like them Law. But it's sad that your not in my class. I'm still in grade 4. but we'll meet in lunch. Let me take you to your class"
The teacher's eyes went wide.
"No Zoro you don't have to.. I mean let me take you to both your classes I'm going that way."
"But Rayliegh Sensei I can do that you don't have to bother with it."
"Nope it's ok. I don't want you guys wondering around for too long."
Ohh it seems that law get what this teacher is saying. The hallways are too confusing for our little green haired friend.

After around 6 years later.
(Law 16)
It was surprising how many people and friends he made after this few years. It's also because of Luffy. The guys id apparently best friend of Zoro. He didn't mind Zoro but he did mind Luffy. He was too loud and too annoying. He was a good guy who only thought of eating and being the head firefighter when he grows up. Back then when Law first came Luffys dream was to be the king of the pirates but after one and half year of convincing form Law that pirated doesn't exist he changed the dream.
Then there is Ace and Sabo. They are siblings and brothers of Luffy. He can understand and can accept that Ace and Luffy are brother but Sabo??? The guy is too chill and too calm to be one of those brothers. But then again when you thinks bout it maybe Sabo stole all the featured like being calm or being smart for the brothers when he was born and when the other two were done there was nothing left to take. Ace is also too louder and clumsy. He always falls asleep in random places. Specially when he eats. Also the girls in his class were always around Ace and clinging to him while the guy payed the no attention.
Then there was all the other friends of Straw hats. Robin, she was the same age as law but in a different class. Yeh there is Nami he's actually scared of this women. He understand why zoro call her a Witch. He gets him too well on this one, Usopp Law likes the guy. He might be a coward but he's fun to hang around with, Sanji the dude is a little too obsessed with women. But there is this girl what's her name again.... Pudding who's obsessed with the guy. But guess the guy doesn't see it when others have feelings for him, he's too focused on Nami.
Zoro ............. Law was t going to admit this but he doesn't see a point in lying to himself about his feelings. He started to develop feelings for Zoro as they grew up. The small gestures and the conversations made him feel close to him than anyone else. He likes Zoro. He's kind, Strong, loyal, and he's perfect. But Law doesn't know what to do with these feelings. He wanted to confess, shout out his feelings to his first love. The person who seemed too perfect to even like him back. But he felt scared. He did t want to get rejected. No he didn't. He doe st want to get thrown away by the person he is in love with.
These feelings have been lingering in his head for the past few years. But he didnt dare open up to anyone. Maybe he should open up be honest with himself.
He has to think. Does he want to lose the person he lives to someone or is he going to man up and confess to him.
But he was still scared. He hoped that he will stope being cowardly. He's worse that Usopp. Usopp will man up when he desperately have to and he confessed to Kaya and now he has a girlfriend.
Law on the other hand is struggling. He just need a little time. Yeh need more time. That's it. He can do this after a little while. He need to calm down.
Yeh he will one day. He will one day tell the person he loves how he feels.
