Summary
The spirit, still humming some beautiful melody, encircles him once, observing carefully. Jake’s breathing grows erratic, the anxiety of the unknown causes his chest to rise and fall rapidly, as he keeps looking ahead.
“W-what are you?” He asks, voice unsteady, not even sure if the other being is able to understand or answer.
The creature brings its soft looking face close to Jake’s own and studies it from a tiny distance. It finally brings its pretty heart-shaped, slightly parted lips near Jake’s ear.
“Your greatest desire.” It whispers.
