Summary
Iwaizumi had been by his side since day one – he had been around since before time existed to Oikawa, for so long that Oikawa didn't really remember what a world without Iwaizumi was like. Iwaizumi had been there for every important thing in Oikawa's life, from birthdays to volleyball tournaments to breakups to failed tests and aced makeups to his parents getting a divorce.
There wasn't any reason to hide anything from Iwaizumi, because knew everything about Oikawa – from his favourite colour to the snow globe he had shattered on Christmas Eve tackling Iwaizumi off the couch to his favourite flower to the scars on his chest to the fact that he had always wanted to adopt a cat with Iwaizumi.
If there was anyone in this world that Oikawa could admit absolutely anything to, it was Iwaizumi.
