Her name is Alexandrea Akuai, Their parents were part of a drug smuggling ring and tried to build up tolerance of Alexandrea by giving her small doses of different drugs everyday, she slowly started thinking she was going insane. When she would go to school, people would avoid her because of her “Insanity”, but one kid named Nick started talking to her, and relating to her. Nick had schizophrenia and Alexandrea was happy she finally found someone who is like her. She had always had bad luck with dating, she has 3 ex’s that all either physically/emotionally abused her, manipulated her, or only used her for her body(Or locked her in a basement). At family gatherings it wasn't much better because she has a really broken family and a lot of them are either jerks, or creeps. She would always find shelter with Nick, but after venting to Nick, and him making one too many jokes about offing her parents and taking her away for himself, she cut him off. This angered Nick, but She still liked him as a friend. One day, when her and them and their parents were walking, Nick quickly pulled a gun on them and bang banged them right in front of Alexandrea. They died instantly as Nick didn't know Alexandrea was there. Alexandrea went into a blind rage, fighting Nick, but Nick told them more and more about her parents' drug usage on her. She faltered and didn't know what to do, so started beating Nick to a pulp. That's when Batman showed up because of the disturbance call on patrol by one of the robins, and found him grabbing him by his shirt, and was about to kill him. Batman stopped her, and led her, still dragging Nick, to the police station where he is now rotting in blackgate for good. Batman took her home as he and the boys (plus barb and cas) started warming up to her, and vice versa, before being adopted as a Wayne shortly after she became a robin.
