Chapter 1: From Cybertron…
Chapter Text
Michigan, Present Day.
The sounds of explosions and townspeople screaming are muffled in the background as a light green Autobot sleeps soundly in an abandoned warehouse, oblivious to what’s happening outside and what’s about to happen next. A small creature crawls up to the sleeping Autobot and frantically taps at her chest with its little legs, squeaking loudly as it’s trying to warn her. The Autobot lifts up her sleeping mask, face to face with the small creature.
”Huh… Mr. Scrappy? What’s going on?”
The creature points at the overhead door, gesturing her to look outside. She heads to the door as the sounds of people screaming grow louder. And before her optics, there was chaos in the streets. Cars were upturned, several buildings engulfed in flames and people screaming in panic as if something was attacking them. But as it turns out, the entire town is under attack. As she was about to head out, a voice rings out.
”Kid, get down!”
She suddenly gets tackled out of the way as a car flies straight towards the warehouse door and explodes on impact, destroying the entrance. He then helps her up on her wheels.
“What the… Blindrage?! What’s happening?”
”They found us. We need to get out of here, now!”
”By who? Who’s they?”
They turn towards a Vehicon who’s standing before them, its arm cannon aimed at both Autobot and Decepticon.
“Traitor!”
The Vehicon yells out.
Blindrage, the silver Decepticon steps forward and readies his knives. He looks back at the young bot and gives her a subtle nod.
“Get those humans to safety. Don’t worry about me.”
He then rushes forward as he prepares to throw his knives directly at the Vehicon.
Before we begin, this is a preview of what’s to come in the following chapters. But let’s go back to the beginning, shall we?
. . .
Earth, 2005.
A large object crashes near a small town somewhere in the United States, causing a small explosion nearby. It was an escape pod and a female Cybertronian emerges from it. Its red optics glow in the dark as it looks around for a disguise to blend in with the locals in this unfamiliar world. As it looks around, a small group of people come running with flashlights in hand, investigating what had caused the explosion. As their footsteps grow near, the Cybetronian takes off running, leaving the pod behind as the humans give chase.
“What the hell was that?”
“There! It’s heading towards the woods! It must be one of those giant robots! Someone go and call the cops!” “Don’t let it get away!”
The voices yell out as the Cybertronian flees. While frantically searching for a vehicle form, it scans a nearby muscle car from a set, a 1967 Chevy Impala. She transforms into the vehicle she scanned and speeds away into the woods and out into a nearby road, escaping from any human contact.
Weeks later, the Cybertronian has now taken refuge at a small town near Detroit, Michigan; safe from any Autobot or Decepticon. There, the Cybertronian watches as the civilians go about their daily lives while she rests in her alt mode. There are times where they would just interrupt her little stasis nap. She would either drive away and look for another place to rest or just let out a frustrated sigh and stay at the same spot, listening to songs on the radio while waiting patiently for the humans to move along.
As night falls, the Cybertronian goes on her nightly walk to a nearby woods, where she spends most of the night gazing up at the sky and seeing the stars above. She then raises her forearm and a holographic projection of a mysterious figure appears, playing an audio recording. It was a light blue Autobot, a close friend of hers that she lost during the war. She lowers her head, closing her eyes and speaks to herself in a quiet voice.
“I’m sorry, old friend. It should’ve been me.”
Her eyes suddenly flick open as a faint sound of thunder can be heard from a distance. She looks up and notices storm clouds slowly covering up the starry sky.
She suddenly hears voices and footsteps, metallic footsteps that are coming from the woods. A group of Autobots emerge from the shadows. There seem to be at least six of them. The Cybertronian turns her head slightly, letting out a frustrated sigh.
“Leave now. I have no time for confrontation.” She warned.
A few Autobots chuckled. One of them speaks, a white and red Autobot named Getaway, who’s the leader of his crew, steps out from the shadows.
“Well, well. What do we have here? A lowly female Decepticon scum in these parts. What a coincidence. I can’t believe we finally found one after encountering many foolish Autobots who are so desperate to find their beloved leader. It’s become nothing but a chore. It would be wise for you to surrender now or things will not end well for you.”
The Cybertronian doesn’t say another word. She instead ignores them. Among the crew is a small female, light green Autobot who seems to be a little nervous about the encounter with a Decepticon. She speaks up but is instantly interrupted by Getaway.
“I don’t think we should be-““Shut your mouth, deadweight. You’ve done nothing but drag us down with your annoying positivity and all that nonsense.”
He sneered under his faceplate as he pushes away the small Autobot.
“Alright, then. So be it. After we execute you, the title of Primehood will finally be mine instead of that filthy old rust bucket. Take them down.”
Two Autobots from Getaway’s crew rush in towards the Cybertronian with the intent to capture or kill her. One of them lunges at her, she turns around and grabs one of the Autobots by the throat, slamming their body onto the ground before another one delivers a kick to the head, causing her to stagger backwards, releasing the bot from her grip. She puts on her battle mask as she prepares to fight Getaway’s crew, yelling with anger.
“Why won’t you leave me alone!”
A fight ensues as Getaway sends out a couple more of his lackeys. The Cybertronian is outnumbered. One of them tackles her to the ground, she desperately tries to grab them by the face but another bot pins her arm down. She then raises her right arm to throw a powerful punch at the bot’s face, knocking them out.
She breaks free and she gets back up on her feet, putting her hands up in a defensive stance as the four bots rush in. One bot lunges at her, she sidesteps out of the way as the bot throws themself headfirst into a nearby boulder, followed by a loud crunch and killing itself in the process.
Another bot rushes in to throw a punch, she grabs the bot by the arm, twisting it and kicks the bot straight into the trees.
Two bots use their blasters as they begin to open fire at her. She desperately tries to block the incoming laser fire using her arm. The Cybertronian runs in as she’s being fired at, transforming into her vehicle form and speeds towards them before doing a u-turn, slamming herself onto their legs, knocking them down.
She transforms back into her robot form, standing over them as the bot that was kicked into the trees shoulder tackles her. Both of them roll around the ground as she gains the upper hand, the bot lands a punch directly at her face. And with no hesitation, she grabs the bot’s arm and tears off their limb in a brutal fashion and tossing it to the side.
She gets up and turns her attention towards Getaway who’s holding the small light green Autobot at gunpoint.
Chapter 2: Duel
Chapter Text
“Ah, ah, ah. One more step and this little piece of scrap metal gets it!”
Getaway warned while pressing the muzzle of his blaster against the small bot’s head, holding her hostage.
“Let her go!”
The Cybertronian’s battle mask retracts, revealing her face, focusing her attention on Getaway and mainly on the small bot. His blue optics widened as if he seems to recognize her, judging by the appearance and the way she fights.
“Hold on. I know you. You’re the Con who temporarily allied with the Autobots because your little friend convinced you to, huh? What are you going to do, save this little brat? Heh, please. Don’t make me laugh. Saving this absolute deadweight really isn’t really your style. But killing sure does. Just like how you mindlessly slaughtered so many bots… especially your friend. What was her name again? It starts with an ‘R’? Eh, it doesn’t matter.”
“What did you say?”
She growled in anger as she clenches her fist at the mention of her close friend and mocking her death. The rain begins to fall as the sound of thunder can be heard rumbling in the background.
“Oh, I’m so sorry! Did I touch a nerve? I didn’t know she meant that much to you. But I must say, she definitely deserved it after all that. Talk about a sad, sad fate.”
Getaway laughs.
And at that moment, the small Autobot hits his abdomen with her elbow, causing him to drop his weapon and keel over in pain, giving the Decepticon an opening as she runs in towards Getaway. She tackles him by the legs, knocking him down before throwing a right jab at his face. A fight ensues as the lone Decepticon and Getaway both exchange blows while the small Autobot watches on behind a tree. The Decepticon preforms a roundhouse kick but the Autobot acts fast, grabbing her leg and slamming his elbow onto her leg, causing the Con to let out a pained groan.
“It’s your funeral, Decepticreep! And I’m just getting started! And now you will soon join your annoying little friend!”
He shouts as he pulls out his dual batons from his back.
The fight continues for what it seemed to be forever, but it finally ends as the Decepticon lands a powerful uppercut directly at his face, causing him to fall backwards onto the ground hard. She slowly limps over to him with an intimidating aura, kneels down over his body and pins him down by the throat with her right hand. And as she does so, a chainsaw transforms out of her left forearm and aims it at his head while looking into his eyes with hatred. Getaway, weakened, begins to laugh as she prepares to end him.
“Is that all you got, tough bot? Are you going to kill me now?”
He laughs again, taunting her as she tightens her grip around his neck. And by adding insult to injury…
“You know something? It’s your fault that she died because of you. Oh, yeah… word travels fast, you know. I bet Optimus knows that. Or even Megatron and his lapdogs. And you want to know something else? No one will even remember her because of her allegiance with you, a worthless… Decepticon …scum!”
Enraged, her optics darken with pure anger, and as she prepares to kill him, Getaway uses what’s left of his strength and pulls out a knife from his leg compartment and stabs her in the side with it. She lets out a pained yell and thrusts her chainsaw directly into his face in a brutal fashion, his screams of agony, mixed with the revving of her chainsaw and the heavy rain fill the air.
The air suddenly grows quiet, with the exception of the rain hitting her metallic exterior and her chainsaw idling quietly. She then retracts her weapon and pants heavily as she looks down at her hands; they are covered in energon. His corpse sitting there with the top half of his head completely sliced off. She sits there with a blank expression on her face, speechless while the remaining bots from Getaway’s crew stand there, horrified as they fled the scene. The Decepticon shuts her eyes lets out a loud, guttural scream that lasts for quite a while.
She stands up and pulls the knife that was lodged in her side, looking back at the small bot that was hiding behind the trees, making small eye contact with her before limping away while energon bleeds out of her stab wound.
Chapter 3: Decepticon and Autobot
Chapter Text
As the lone Decepticon slowly limps away, the small Autobot noticed something upon first glance: There was great pain in her optics; as well as a hint of anger and guilt. She slowly skates away from the trees and decides to trail behind her as if she were a small puppy. The Decepticon limps her way out of the woods and towards an abandoned warehouse nearby while clutching at her side from the stab wound. The small Autobot begins to speak up.
“Hey. Excuse me?”
A soft, quiet voice comes out of her mouth. The Con stops and growls softly, slightly turning her head at the direction of her voice, glaring at the small bot.
“Leave. I don’t want any company.”
“You were really amazing back there. I want to thank you for saving my life from that guy and his group of idiots. Those guys were a real buzzkill, I can tell you that. I have so many questions to ask you. What’s your story?”
She asked with curiosity.
“Oh, where are my manners. I’m Nepenthe, by the way!” But you can call me Nep for short if you like!”
She puts her arm forward for a fist bump with a smile on her face.
The Decepticon stays silent, ignoring her. Her optics widened a bit as if she had seen that familiar gesture before. Other than that, this was the first time that someone has ever thanked her in so long. She continues to limp away towards the warehouse, knowing that if the chatty Autobot decides to stick around with her, she’ll be a pain in the tailpipe.
“Oh, I see. You’re not the type to start conversations are you? Well, let me-“
She gets interrupted as the Decepticon stops once more and raises her voice.
“Why are you following me?! Shouldn’t you be out there looking for Optimus Prime and the others?”
“No…”
“Why not?”
“Because… I have nowhere else to go…. Is it okay if I could stick with you for a while?”
She replied with a hint of sadness in her voice while looking up at her with puppy dog eyes.
The Decepticon sighs.
“Oh, for Primus sake… I told you, I don’t want any company- Agh!”
She grunts as the pain grew worse on her side. Falling on one knee while cursing in Cybertronian under her breath.
“Whoa, whoa. Hey, easy there. You’re losing a lot of energon.”
“No shit. Just get me to the warehouse…”
She grumbled. Nepenthe quickly rushes to her aid, wrapping her arm around her shoulder as she helps her up, grunting with effort while the Con guides her towards the abandoned warehouse. Once they enter through the overhead door, the small Autobot cautiously looks around as she enters through the doorway after her.
“Is there anything bad in there?”
“No, just you.”
“Rude…”
Nepenthe pouts at her remark, feeling a little hurt. The Decepticon reaches to a makeshift platform and lays there to regain her strength as the Bot tends to her wound. She then takes out a small energon cube from her forearm compartment and hands it over to her to consume it.
“So, is this where you live? How long have you been here?”
“Not long. A deca-cycle, I guess. It’s only a temporary hideout for me until I can find someplace else to be left alone in peace.”
“Where are you going to go?”
“Somewhere quieter.”
“Quieter, huh? That sounds boring if I’m being honest.”
She rolls her eyes with annoyance.
“Don’t you have anyone else you can annoy? Friends, humans, or other Autobots?”
Nepenthe tilts her head down a bit with a mournful look on her face.
“Well… my friends were killed in a Decepticon attack. I was the only one who made it out alive. Heh, lucky me. And what about you, you’re a Dececpticon, right? Isn’t that what Getaway said to you earlier? Do you… kill anyone you laid your optics on besides him?”
“I used to be. And no, I don’t kill for the fun of it like everyone else. I made a foolish decision and it was too late for me to realize that this was never my life to begin with… I just… want to be free from all this… and doesn’t it bother you that I’m a Decepticon?”
Nepenthe responds by shaking her head.
“Nope, not at all. The fact that you saved me, that’s unlike any other Decepticon I’ve ever encountered. From what I’ve heard, they’re probably just hellbent on chaos and destruction. Oh, And I know that this will sound personal but… who was your old friend that Getaway mentioned?”
Nepenthe asked, but the Con says nothing and shuts her eyes, going into a stasis nap as the sound of rainfall patters down on the metallic roof of the building.
“Okay, you’re tired. I see. We’ll talk more in the morning. Good night then.”
She glances at her one last time and transforms into a light green 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago next to her.
“By the way, what’s your name?”
She asked while in her vehicle form.
“Ugh…”
Chapter 4: Decepticon and Autobot Pt.2
Chapter Text
“Seekers! Incoming!”
“We’re surrounded! Can anyone hear me? Prime, do you read me? Over!”
“Don’t worry about us. We’ll see you on the other side!”
“We meet again. I see you’ve made a foolish decision to betray me behind my back.”
“I’ll do what I must… to stand my ground… fighting for the one I love most… for my home!”
“It’s your fault she died because of you. No one will even remember her because of her allegiance with you. A worthless… Decepticon… scum!”
The voices in her head begin to echo and overlap with each other as the memory of that day continues to haunt her. The day when her close friend, the only one who kept her together, was killed. She keeps reliving the same day over and over as it’s played in a never ending loop in her head. On that day on Cybertron, she sees a light blue Autobot battling against the Decepticon leader. The nightmare ends as the sound of his arm cannon fires directly at the Autobot. Her red optics suddenly flick open and wakes up screaming.
“NO!”
She looks around, breathing heavily and looks over the edge of the platform and sees that Nepenthe is nowhere to be found. She lies back down on the platform and stares at the ceiling for a while. She then gets up from the said platform and starts to look around the warehouse, searching through the rooms, assuming that she could either be making herself at home or just doing any kind of shenanigans.
After a few minutes of searching, she finally relaxes by taking a deep breath, presuming that the Autobot had finally left. She steps out of the warehouse where she is greeted by the morning sun. But suddenly, a cheerful voice rings out of nowhere.
“Goooood morning!”
Startled, the Decepticon deploys her chainsaw from her left forearm. Nepenthe puts both hands up in defense as the chainsaw is being pointed at her.
“Whoa, hey! It’s me, Nepenthe!”
“Why the hell are you still here?! I thought you already left!”
“I know, I just went out to search for a few things to make this place more lively. It’s kinda boring in there. And could you help me out for a moment, please? I’ve been dragging this hunk of scrap metal all morning.”
Nep points at the body of a dead Autobot who was part of Getaway’s crew. She carefully examined the corpse, whose head had been crushed into his body. It’s the same bot who purposely threw himself headfirst into a nearby boulder from last night’s skirmish.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. Why do you need that for?”
She asked with a look of disapproval.
“Oh, that? I don’t know. Spare parts, maybe? How are you feeling? Is your leg feeling better? What about your side?
The Con places her hand on her side. No longer feeling any pain. The same goes to her leg, she lifts up her leg, bending it. No pain at all.
“Huh. I don’t feel anything. Where did you get those energon cubes?”
“Oh, I got them from a friend. You know, before he died from the Decepticon attack. Also, what were you screaming about? I heard you yelling before I set wheel on the doorway with this heavy pile of metal. Were you worried about me leaving?”
“It’s nothing. I just… thought you had left…”
“So you were worried about me leaving. Look at you being a softie! That’s adorable!”
Nepenthe giggles. The Con grumbles as she begins to drag the body by the leg and into the warehouse.
“It’s not like that. Make yourself at home and be quiet before I kick you out.”
Later that afternoon, after dragging another body, Getaway’s corpse into the warehouse, The Decepticon heads outside to start her training while Nepenthe is busy decorating the place. She walks towards a tree where an old car is hanging from a sturdy branch using chains; used as a punching bag. She stands in front of it, takes a deep breath, puts her hands up and the training starts. She keeps herself focused as she delivers a few quick punches at the car, denting it with every powerful punch.
As she continues punching away at the old car, she begins to recall the past which has become a blur. She remembers meeting a mining bot with blue and green optics, their time at the Old Oil House and the day when their friendship fell apart. Bits and pieces of the old car began to crumble as she landed one more punch, sending half of the car tumbling into the ground. She breathes heavily and looks at her fists. She thought to herself: “This is not enough. I need to get stronger.” As she turns around to head back, Nepenthe stands before her, awestruck.
“Woah… that was awesome! How did you do that? Could you teach me?”
The Decepticon stands there confused and sighs.
“What the… How long have you been standing there.”
“Let’s see... um… 15 minutes, I guess?”
“15 minutes? But how- you know what, never mind. I thought you were back at the warehouse working on whatever.”
“Yeah, I got bored. Buuuuut, I found something cool in there. It’s a strange box-like device I found. Wanna see?”
“This better be good.”
Nepenthe skates away excitedly using her wheel-feet as the Con follows behind her. Back at the warehouse, Nep gestures her to take a look at the device that’s been plugged in. She takes a closer look at the device. It’s got a screen on it and some sort of compartment with the words “VHS” printed on it, and upon closer inspection, the words “Magnavox” are branded on the said device.
“Magnavox? Is that what it’s called?”
“I believe humans call it a television. I’m pretty sure we used to have those on Cybertron. I can’t remember.”
She tilts her head with curiosity as a movie is being played on screen. She sees humans on the screen arguing, shooting at each other while taking cover behind cars with some special effects.
“Pretty cool, right?”
She asked with excitement in her voice.
“Yeah. Cool.”
She replied with a deadpan tone as she steps away from the tv.
“Ooh, I know! Why don’t we spend some time together and watch some tv? It’ll be fun!”
“Nep, I can’t. I got better things to do.”
“Aw, come on. Pleeeease?”
Nepenthe looks up at her with puppy dog eyes. She stares down at her with a piercing gaze and grumbles.
“You’re kidding me with those eyes. Ugh, fine. Just don’t be loud. Got it?”
“Woohoo!”
Nep cheered and gives her a tight hug. As she hugs her, the Decepticon stands there, stunned. The wheels on her back slowly start to turn at the sudden gesture.
“Hey, that’s not… really necessary. Could you let go of me?”
“Nope!”
Nepenthe continues hugging her while the Con rolls her eyes and goes along with it. The both of them begin watching tv together as they sit on a makeshift couch, courtesy of the little ball of energy. Nepenthe later falls asleep due to the sheer boredom from watching soap operas while the Con is entertained by it, as well as watching movies on different channels ranging from Robocop, Armageddon, Spider-Man and many others.
Later that night after watching tv with Nepenthe, who fell asleep; the Decepticon heads out to the woods for a nightly walk and stargazing. She fidgets with her forearm and a song plays on her radio, the song being: “Dust in The Wind” by Kansas. After several minutes of looking up at the stars, she then sits on a hill and displays a holographic projection of a light blue Autobot which plays a voice recording. A soft, gentle voice can be heard from it.
“Oh! Is this thing on? Good. Hi, I just wanted to check up on you and see how you’re doing. Listen, I know that it’s been hundreds of years since we last spoke to each other. All I can say is… It’s okay… I forgive you and it wasn’t your fault for what you said or did. I know you’ve been through so much for the past hundred years fighting in this war… I know you’re a Decepticon, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re still the one who was kind to me the day we first met; the one I care about most with my life. Remember this, Thundercry… we will go through this together... me and you… and once this is over, we can finally smile once again!”
The recording ends. She sits there as tears begin to fall down her face, lowering her head down slightly as she sobs quietly.
“I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…”
Her voice breaks as she speaks under her shaky breath. She hears someone approaching. It’s Nepenthe. She quietly asks.
“Hey. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing… please leave. I’m not in the mood to talk.”
”Why not? I’m here to help. Is something bothering you?”
She turns her head away while wiping the tears from her optics.
”I don’t want to talk about it.”
“You can tell me. I won’t judge. Just tell me what’s bothering you.”
Nepenthe sits a few feet away from her, giving her some space.
The Con turns her attention to her. She hesitates a bit before opening her mouth.
“I… I let her down… I got her killed… it was all my fault…”
“Hey, look at me. Just take it easy… deep breaths.”
She nods and takes a few deep breaths before looking into her optics.
“There. Now tell me what’s been bothering you. Who was that in the projection?”
“She’s… an old friend of mine… Raytracer. We go way back before the war.”
“An Amica Endura, huh? What was she like?”
“She’s… very sweet… an expert sharpshooter… always winning prizes at the shooting gallery. We sometimes go out to spend time drinking at the Old Oil House every night, sitting on the roof of a building watching the stars above.”
“Ooh. She sounds like a fun bot to be around.”
“Yeah. She’ll like you. I bet the two of you would definitely become fast friends.”
“Indeed we are! And if you don’t mind me asking… what happened to her? Did something bad happen?”
Nepenthe asked with genuine curiosity. The Con lowers her head a little and then lifts her head up.
“She was killed by- …by Megatron. I couldn’t save her on time. I spent years feeling guilty, reliving the same nightmare over and over. I’ve said some terrible things to her… and I wished I’d take it all back. I really miss her…”
Nepenthe lowers her head as well. Understanding the pain she felt losing a best friend.
“I lost my friends as well… from a Decepticon attack… I was the latest member of an Autobot friend group… we got along really nicely until they were murdered one by one… they told me to keep running and never look back. Those were their last words. But listen… it wasn’t your fault. You shouldn’t blame yourself for her death all the time. The only things you should remember are the memories you made together along the way. Like the time at the Old Oil House you mentioned. That’s what you need to hold on to. She may be gone, but a wise bot once told me, whenever you look to the stars, think of one of them as their spark. I’m sure hers will shine the brightest!”
The Decepticon looks at her, speechless. And with no hesitation, she gives Nepenthe a tight hug. The Autobot, not only caught off guard by being hugged by a Decepticon, she also has to deal with her massive frame almost crushing her.
“Ow, ow! You’re crushing me! Way too strong! Oh well… are you feeling better?”
“Shut up…”
“I’ll take that as a yes.”
The Decepticon quickly pulls away from the hug, the wheels on her back slowly turn. Nepenthe then extends her arm forward for a fist bump with a bright smile on her face.
“So, are we friends now?”
She asked excitedly.“If you mention this to anyone, I’m still going to… you get the idea.”
“You got it!”
She replied with a smile. Her arm stretched out as she waits for a fist bump. The Decepticon shakes her head slightly and taps her fist with hers.
“The name’s Thundercry. I didn’t want to tell you my name until now.”
“Thundercry, eh? Sounds intimidating, I might say. Seems to me that this is the start of our wonderful friendship!”
Thundercry groans in annoyance.
. . .
Meanwhile, on a faraway planet, thousands and thousands of miles away from Earth. Two Autobots are on a run from an unseen force as a metallic shriek can be heard from a distance. A winged figure flies overhead as the two bots take shelter in a nearby cave, waiting for the danger to pass.
“Can anyone hear me? Our team has been wiped out by something or someone! Decepticons? Quintessons? I don’t know what it is! If you’re hearing this message! We are being hunted!”
There was no response. Only silence. As the Autobot turns around. His teammate was nowhere to be found. The only thing he sees is complete darkness. Suddenly, a voice can be heard from within the cave, presumably his teammate.
“Over here!”
“Hello? Where the heck did you run off to?”
“Over here!”
The Autobot goes in to investigate, making his way through the cave and deploys his arm cannon. He continues making his way through the pitch-black cave, with the faint light of his cannon serving as its only source of light. He suddenly trips over something, and upon closer inspection, the thing he tripped on was none other than the remains of his teammate, who is now missing the bottom half of his body and his voice-box. He frantically looks around as the same voice of his now dead teammate echoes from within the cave, growing louder and louder.
“Over here! Over here! Over here! Over here!”
He then slowly backs away until he bumps into something. He then slowly turns around. He is now face to face with the mysterious, winged figure with a big, glowing hole in its chest. Whatever it was, it looked Cybertronian, but definitely not an Autobot, Decepticon or a Quintesson; but it bears a strange, horned insignia. The Autobot screams but is cut short by the sharp, elongated claws being plunged into his head before brutally getting his head and spine ripped from his body. His lifeless body falls to the ground as the same voice rings from the figure’s mouth.
“Over… here!”
