Viktor remained silent, staring down at his own hands; one of flesh while the metal joints of the gray and red steel popped, steamed forced from the small opening he had made for a second before it all slotted back into place. With the Talis hammer, a symbol he had come to love and despise all in time, etched onto the piece of steel around his ring finger he balled both hands into fists as they lowered to rest at his sides.
"I understand," and for the first time in what felt like his new life, he could finally breathe again.
