Summary
Lenja struggles with bullying at school due to having two dads and her love of art and books. After opening up to Kris and Bojan, about the hurtful things the other kids have said, they immediately confront the school and demand action. The headmistress promises to investigate. Tho despite the promising action, the bullying continues. Lenja becomes increasingly upset, and her parents decide to take her out of school for her safety.
Determined to protect their daughter, Kris and Bojan, after discussing with the band, decide to go public about the bullying. They take a stand, sharing their story to raise awareness and put pressure on the school to take further action. The headmistress promises to investigate, and Lenja begins to feel safer.
To further support her, Kris and Bojan arrange for Lenja to transfer to her best Friend’s school, where she is welcomed by her best friend and kind classmates. Lenja’s new teacher, Miss Božič, makes her feel seen and special. With the unwavering support of her family, Lenja finds a fresh start, and by the end of the day, she’s thriving in her new environment.
