Loving you is the simplist thing
That I know how to do
It comes as easy as breath
Into my lungs.
A tightening in my chest
Where my human heart would be.
Instead, you have taken up residence
And live free within the hollow of my breast.
Dizzy with want
Breathless with need
Of everything that I feel
And more beyond
Which I can envision
I know not of how to love
Or if I can be loved in return
But for you and I would try.
I will try.
