Winter’s Bounty

Summary:

No logic here within Winters bounty
Just you and me and our hands entwined

Notes:

Prompt:

Stolen from Page’s request last year because I was OBSESSED with it

Kirk and Spock and snowflakes, oh my! ❄️✨

I just love snowflakes as a winter motif - their beauty and originality make for endless shapes to admire! Would love to see your creations including snowflakes in art with Kirk and Spock - drawings, paper snowflakes, baked goods, whatever you want to create!

Would also adore any writing and poetry including snowflakes somehow with Kirk and Spock. Fluffy or angsty stories both welcome (me being me, my mind goes straight to hurt/comfort lol, but not necessary!). All I ask is that there be a happy ending! :’)

DNW: Unhappy ending, major character death, gore.

Work Text:

Snowflakes that adorn my hair
Like a crown that I bare
The faint glow of
distant street lights make
them look like stars tonight

The simplicity of natures mark
Like the place you have within my heart.
But the flakes will melt;
And sink into the strands
Binding to me like I wish
To be bound to you.

How do I begin to count
The ways that I wish
To adore you, my dear.
My Captain, my heart,
Parted from me; but never parted
In the ways that could truly matter.
You are ingrained in my very essence
My katra breathes for you
And you alone.

No logic here within Winters bounty
Just you and me and our hands entwined
Everything so intricately designed
A love I feel so profoundly.

I wish to never be
Without you by my side.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
