The group arrived at their target, a shipping container left in the backwater crevices of the space colony ark, some would guess to say this was their first adventure as a team, ignoring the previous timelines of course; but that was why they were here in the first place; Maria, Shadow, Abraham and Ivo had gone on their own little adventure to find time prevention gear a armband styled device that would prevent time travel from throwing you of course and give you all of your memories from previous timelines, for some reason Big Sis had forbidden for them to be given out to civilians or them, she claimed that there was nothing worth remembering, but nobody in their little gang believed that, so of they set and here they lay a few feet away from their memories; from their past lives; Ivo opened the door to the container "Come on you slow pokes, what are you waiting for!" he rushed in and grabbed a device, "Careful Ivo! they could be delicate!"
"these? delicate? HA! AS IF SOMETHING MADE BY A ROBBOTNIK COULD EVER FALL VICTIM TO SOME SLIGHT SHAKING!""
"would it kill you to listen to your cousin for once?" Abraham retorted half entertained by his friends antics, Shadow remained quiet, hiding by marias arm he wasnt to fond of this idea, their big sis had warned them against this and sure, she might be secretive mysterious and ever so distant but she was still their sister, and if there was one thing shadow was certain of it was that she cared for them. Maria however was not as trusting in her bigger counterpart, that faterful day when she had been given a cure by this genious from the future, the same day that GUN tried to board the ark she remembered seeing that look in her eye that terrifying glare of pure hatred before she hesitated over the panel, that look stayed with her, and that look was not one from a person she intended to trust blindly.
It didnt take the amazing Ivo Robotnik long to figure out how the devices worked and with abraham they quickly equiped the devices to the group

a deep pain surged through all of them as their memories flooded in, for shadow it was the shortest as his time on the ark came to a close with a gunshot, he gasped and looked around seeing the others writhing in discomfort, a few minutes later abraham and ivo emerged having experienced their own painful deaths,a bullet in the head for ivo and a bomb in the neck for abraham, but for maria the pain continued
"It should have been done by now!" shadow panicked
"Its probably just because shes got more memories to go through" ivo reasoned
"should we get someone?" abraham asked, to which a stern no from ivo gave him his awnser.
shadow held marias hand tightly as a burning pain seared through her skull, until finally she gasped upright, gripping her head
"...dear gaia" she uttered as she stumbled out of place, shadow quickly moved to support her
she seemed unnerved like she had just seen something truly horrifying she held shadow closely as she proceeded to vomit all over the floor
"i- im a monster" she muttered to which shadow hugged her more and ivo and abraham refuted
"THATS UTTER BULLSHIT YOUR THE SOFTEST PUSHOVER I KN-owwwww" ivo said as abraham punched him in the stomach he was about to ask a question before the sudden interuption of the door opening, their big sister was here.
Maria immediately stood up and rushed forward holding her arm out infront of her friends in a defensive stance "stay back you- you monster"
the other girl paused, she took a step back "is everyone okay?" she asked
maria held firm, "y-you murderer" she glared to which her older sister wilted, "h-how could you do such a thing?"
"what did she do?" abraham cautiously inquired
Big sister opened her mouth but found it lacking words
"she, killed, MILLIONS" Maria stated, her sentence flooding the room with a tense shocked atmosphere shadow gasped staring in disbelief at the accusation levied at his big sister, he backed away from the situation hoping for it to be a bad dream that he could just wake up from, he was terrified that his family had seemed to so suddenly split apart and tear at each other. he stared desperately at his big sister hoping shed deny the claim, but no words exited her mouth, "WELL ARE YOU NOT EVEN GOING TO DENY WHAT IVE SEEN? OR JUSTIFY IT, SAY HOW THEY DESERVED IT FOR DARING TO HURT YOU?"
"... you remember what rouge said to us, the day before we came here?"
maria paused, before laughing "EVEN NOW WITH ALL THIS? THE ONLY REASON YOUR ALIVE IS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO SUFFER? BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE DYING WOULD BE TO MERCIFUL ON YOUR BROKEN SOUL?"
"no- I also wanted to make sure nobody would hurt yo-"
"oh really, so your living through us then? hoping well feel some tandem of happiness for you? is that all we ar-"
"NO! Y-YOUR EVERYTHING, YOUR EVERYTHING TO ME, Y-YOU GOT THE HAPPY ENDING I NEVER COULD, YOU- YOU"
"everything to a person who desperately wants to die, you barely even ever talked to us. was that because you didnt feel you deserved this or because we werent yours"

"I remember everything youve done up to the point you came back, I remember your crimes I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!"
"I remember the conversations you had, with those people from the parralel world, I remember the joy you felt as you ripped out the presidents spine"

", I REMEMBER" maria stubbornly said over her opponent not giving them the chance to speak" you talking thinking of your perfect little world, a perfect little world with a space for everyone-"
"everyone but me" she finishes, "..."
"i hate you, you selfish pathetic little brat,"
"Maria!" abraham countered but a single glare from her shut him down, shadow had fully backed away from the conversation staring desperatly at his sisters
"... I- Ill get out of your hair," big sister finished as she stumbled away from the conversation.
