Sasha Waybright would describe herself as an ordinary 23-year-old woman. She has a steady job as a child psychiatrist, an adoptive toad father who she is absolutely certain is at least 1000 times better than either of her bioparents, and two lovely girlfriends who she's known and loved since they were all kids. She is currently sitting with said girlfriends in a cafe chatting about all sorts of stuff, as girlfriends normally do.
Suddenly, some guy, outta nowhere, apropos of absolutely nothing at all whatsoever:
"Omigosh, are you Sasha from the Skullcrushers? I'm such a huge fan!"
Sasha: "Thanks man, but we broke up a couple years ago."
Fan: "Yeah, what happened back then? Everyone's got different theories, but-"
Sasha: "Well, it was just a side thing. I got busy with schoolwork."
Fan: "But you guys got a top 10 radio hit! And you just scrapped the band? Just like that?"
Sasha: "Yeah, pretty much."
Fan: "...can I have an autograph?"
Sasha: "yeah sure, why not"
Sasha gives the fan an autograph and he leaves. Sasha's girlfriends, meanwhile, are processing the fact that apparently one of the loves of their lives is famous or something?
Marcy: "Sashy~ you never told us you got famous!"
Sasha: "Pssh, I didn't get famous! All I did was start a band in college for a few shows, record a few songs, then break up the band. Mind you, I still get calls from record labels every now and then."
Anne: "Dude, that is objectively cool."
Marcy: "What song was the radio hit? "Heartstomper"?"
Sasha: ""Heartstomper"."
The table settled into a brief silence.
Anne: "We should totally reform the Sharps."
Marcy: "We could be rock stars! We could get a big mansion and all live together!"
Sasha: "Eh... I don't know..."
Anne: "Come on dude, you got a top 10 radio hit with a song you wrote when you were 13. That's gotta count for something.
Sasha: "Would we even have the time? I mean, you've got the aquarium, I've got the kids, Marcy's got... games."
Marcy: "And m'comic! But c'mon Sash, you got time to date, you got time to restart a band with your girlfriends."
Sasha: "...eh, sure. Why not."
