Summary
By the time they walk back to Vash’s farmhouse, it’s dark, and he feels pleasantly bubbly and warm. He’s only tipsy, and Wolfwood is in a similar condition—looser, leaning on each other a little more heavily.
“Ah, y’probly shouldn’t ride your house home like this,” Vash points out responsibly. “Angelina is fine in my stable for the night.”
Wolfwood hums. “Well that’s peachy n all, but where would I sleep?” He asks.
Vash groans. “Ah, it’s just one night,” He says with a loose wave of his hand, “My bed’s plenty big.” That may be a stretch of the truth, or perhaps Vash’s delusional desire to cuddle up close to the other man under the guise of limited space on the mattress.
