"It was hard to watch Jayce walk around knowing that he was presented as unclaimed. He knew that there was hardly a chance that he would roam but the fact that it was an open possibility irked him more than he cared to admit. He was grappling with a myriad of extraordinary emotions that he didn’t know how to process and, thus, he buckled down into his work; the only solution to turmoil he knew. He had left so many things unsaid and only implied with no idea how to present it without coming off too hot and too strong, perhaps so much so that he might scare Jayce away. The concept of possession was a tough pill to swallow and he wanted to ease his partner into it lest he scare him away forever."
