Eddie frowns. “Baby… baby, do you not have traditions?”
Steve shrugs, plays with the hem of Eddie’s shirt. “I was alone a lot. My parents just didn’t think about me and Christmas in the same sentence very often. They’d send some things in the mail, sometimes, but they’d never come home.”
“Okay,” Eddie says, nodding. “So I’ll get mad about that later, but for now, is there anything you want to do for your first Christmas in our house with our baby?”
“I… don’t know,” Steve admits.
