Work Text:
Snow. It doesn’t snow everywhere, climates and whatnot, it does now and again snow on Night Raven College.
Students tend to find snow days to be the perfect days to skip school, not to say that always ends well for any of them. Snow days are loved in NRC, especially during weekends.
Inside the walls of Heartslabyul, behind the door of their Queen’s room there are three boys huddled together under a ruby red blanket.
They’ve all got a content look on their face until the face of the shortest one begins to scrunch up.
Just like that the peacefulness of the scene was disrupted as the shortest of the three begins to rouse away. He tries to sit up despite his tired confusion in an attempt to figure out what’s woken him up.
The movement causes the boy with dirty blonde hair to start to rouse awake, “Riddle, what are you doing..?” The words are just barely audible as he looks up at the confused boy.
“It’s cold..” Riddle says in response before sinking slowly back into the bed and pushing himself into the arms of the boy with dirty blonde hair. “I’m cold Ruggie.”
Ruggie doesn’t protest when Riddle pushes himself into this arms, only the cold can get Riddle to become so soft. The mix of cold and morning haziness is playing games with Riddle’s brain.
“Hm..” His ears twitch slightly as he lets out a hum and looks outside the only window in the room with a curtain, snow is falling. “Should I get another blanket?” He asked softly before feeling a small nods against his chest.
“You’re gonna have to let go then..” With a bit of hesitation Riddle’s hands slowly loosened and he turned over to clutch onto Kalim instead.
Through his own tired and exhausted state Ruggie pulled his heavy body out of the safety and flimsy warmth of the red blanket to open the wardrobe door. He carefully pulled down the white blanket at the top of the wardrobe before pulling it over to the bed.
He threw the blanket on the bed, watching it land on top of the red one and fixing its position slightly before diving back under the red blanket.
It was warmer now, the kind of warm that can lull anyone back to sleep and that’s what it does. Soon there are three boys cuddling together under two blankets with content looks on their faces.
