Summary
After losing his arm, Toji decides to settle in a secluded farm in the countryside. But it's not easy to look after everything with one hand. In order to not lose his land to Kenjaku, Toji decides to look for a spouse who'll help him around the house. But when the bride arrives, Toji finds a skinny, malnourished omega standing outside of his door.
This is not what he asked for!"I asked for a strong, healthy omega, not a breathing skeleton."
"I can help you. I will work day and night and I-"
"I doubt you'd survive next winter. I can't even look after my farm; how will I look after you? I'm going to send you back." Toji says cutting the omega off.
Suguru's face falls, but he doesn't protest anymore, already used to rejection and neglect. Seeing that sad face, something stirs inside Toji's heart that he thought no longer existed.
"You're not going to send me back?" Suguru asks when winter arrives.
Toji pretends not to hear the question.
