( It's been four years since Deuce and Clawdeen reluctantly broke up because of the council, and the werewolf married Prince Romulus.
Now, a year later, Clawdeen is unhappily married to Romulus and struggling, while Deuce opened a bakery in Greece.
But after a night together, Clawdeen accidentally falls pregnant with Deuce’s child. Now she knows she needs to end this marriage for their baby.

Chapter 1: Prologue

They looked through every marriage book, looked through every law, and nothing worked. And the werewolf's grandparents only found out the morning of the wedding.
" Clawdeen-' Waylon began, as he stepped into the room. " Please don't say anything. This day is hard enough for me already' Clawdeen pleaded, as she tightened her dress. " I'm truly sorry we didn't find out sooner' Waylon muttered. " There's no sense in apologizing now. It's too late, right?' Clawdeen retorted. " Claw, you don't have to do this' Waylon firmly answered. " Don't I? The councik wants it, and I have to please them' Clawdeen muttered, as she grumpily stormed off. " Apollo isn't walking her down the aisle?' Waylon asked. " I don't think she cares at all about the aisle' Draculaura murmured. " Yeah, she does not. Champagne, anyone?' Cleo asked. " What about Deuce?' Waylon asked. " He opened a bakery in Greece, he moved in with his cousin and her fiancè. I'm trying to get back home' Heath answered.

" To bakery èinai apascholimèno sîmera, e?' Viperine teased. " Yeah, a little. My mom called me again today' Deuce muttered, as his snakes hissed. " Gee, I wonder why. Go back home, Deuce' Viperine pleaded. " V, you know why I can't' Deuce softly murmured. " Does it have to do with a certain werewolf princess?' Viperine teased. " Of course it does. We didn't exactly end on good terms, fyi' Deuce retorted. " I know, but maybe part of her will be happy to see you? And the squad will be happy to see you' Viperine pleaded, trying to convince the gorgon. " Then it looks like I'm going back home' Deuce grinned.

" Ah, home sweet home' Deuce muttered, as his snakes hissed in agreement, as he paused once he entered the castle. Why was it quiet? And why were his mom's shoes by the door? " Mom?' Deuce called. No answer. " Mom?! Are you home..?' Deuce called. " D- Deuce! What are you doing here, sweetheart?' Medusa asked. " Take a guess' Deuce retorted, as he gestured to his luggage. " I thought you weren't coming home until yesterday' Medusa murmured. " Y'know, I thought about it, and then I realized I wanted to be home sooner' Deuce grinned. " O- oh, makes sense' Medusa stammered.
" Are you.. okay? You're acting really strange?' Deuce asked. " Medusa, is Deuce- Oh!' Dracula cried. " Aah! Dracula, what are you doing here?! Does Drac know you're here?' Deuce asked. " No, not yet..' Dracula muttered. " I am very confused right now. What is going- Oh. Are you two, y'know?' Deuce asked. " Yes, Dracula and I are dating' Medusa murmured, " Cool, v- very cool' Deuce murmured. " Can you stay somewhere else tonight? Or wear earbuds in your room?' Medusa asked. " I'll wear earbuds. Nice to see you, D- Dracula' Deuce stammered, as he ran off. " That was embarassing' Dracula muttered. " Ya think?! Oh, wait, Deuce!' Medusa called. " Yeah?' Deuce asked. " When are you getting back together with Clawdeen?' Medusa asked. " Uh..' Deuce muttered.

" Uh.. Are you forgetting she's married? I'd like to' Deuce muttered. " I know, sweetheart, but who's to say you two can't work it out?' Medusa suggested. " Maybe. I'm gonna head out, go see what the squad's doing' Deuce grinned. " Ok. And, Deuce?' Medusa began. ' Yeah?' Deuce asked. " Welcome home. I missed you' Medusa grinned. " I missed you too' Deuce grinned, as he walked out.
" Deuce! Welcome back, dude!' Heath grinned, as they high- fived and hugged. " Heath, what's up, man? Have you killed Romulus yet?' Deuce laughed. " Oh, he wants to. Welcome back, D' Draculaura chimed in. " Thanks, Drac. By the way, our parents are-' Deuce began. " Dating? I know, future stepbrother' Draculaura teased. " Heath, where are my- Oh, it's you. Why are you back?' Romulus scoffed, as he glared at Deuce. " I was ready to come home, take care of some things around here' Deuce hissed, as he stepped closer to the wolf. " And if you do anything to Clawdeen, ra help you' Deuce snarled, as his eyes glowed. " Ok! Romulus, your laundry's all folded, bye now' Heath chimed in, as the wolf tsked and walked off. " I hate him' Deuce muttered. " Join the club' Draculaura retorted. " Heath, why is-' Clawdeen began, as she paused, and Deuce stiffened. " Deuce' Clawdeen murmured. " Hey' Deuce gulped. " What are you doing here?' Clawdeen asked, as her eyes softened. She couldn't find it in her heart to stay mad at the gorgon. " I missed it here, I missed you guys. Claws, we need to-' Deuce began. " Are you going to leave again?' Clawdeen asked. " No. I'm home for good, I promise' Deuce assured. " Good. I'll see you later, Deuce' Clawdeen softly murmured, as she walked off. " Has she been like this-' Deuce began. " Since you left? Mm- hmm. You gotta fix this' Heath answered.

" Hey, Dad. Are you busy?' Draculaura greeted. " Never too busy for you, my little demon. What’s going on?’ Dracula asked. “ Nothing, just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing. Are you dating Medusa?’ Draculaura asked. “ I’m doing good, I- How did you know we were dating?’ Dracula asked. “ Deuce told me, he saw you two when he got back home. I’m thrilled for you, Dad. I just hope the relationship works. Deuce was- is one of my best friends, and I don’t want our friendship to end again’ Draculaura answered. “ I can assure you that will not happen, my little demon. I love Medusa very much, and I intend to spend as much time with her as I can’ Dracula grinned. “ Aww.. This makes me so happy. I’m so happy for you, Dad’ Draculaura grinned, as she tightly hugged her father. Clawdeen needed to clear her head and get away from Romulus, hence how she found herself at a local bar. “ Aw, did Romulus drop dead?’ Deuce retorted. “ No, he’s still alive and a d*ick’ Clawdeen snorted. “ The usual, Deuce?’ The bartender asked. “ Yes, sir’ Deuce murmured, and the she- wolf tried to resist the urge to run her hands through his curls, with his snakes nuzzling her fingertips. “ Mind if I join you?’ Deuce asked, and the wolf gulped. “ Uh, s- sure’ Clawdeen stammered. “ But how does the bartender know you?’ Clawdeen asked. “ This is one of my frequent drink spots’ Deuce murmured. “ Of course it is’ Clawdeen muttered, trying to hide her jealously. “ So we’re not gonna talk about the elephant in the room?’ Clawdeen asked. “ What elephant?’ Deuce answered. “ About you being gone for 3 years, Deuce! I was miserable without you, and so was the squad’ Clawdeen cried. “ I had to let you go! I was trying to do the right thing, Clawdeen’ Deuce hissed. “ The right thing would’ve been you staying, but you probably won’t stay for long. Have a nice life, Deuce’ Clawdeen huffed, as she stormed off. “ Wait!’ Deuce cried. “ For wha-‘ Clawdeen began, as he pulled her in for a passionate kiss, as she was shocked at first before leaning into it and the kiss deepened after a few minutes. “ We should..’ Clawdeen breathed. “ Yeah, let’s get out of here..’ Deuce breathed, as they ran off.

As Deuce's eyes stirred open, his face fell upon realizing his werewolf was no longer beside him, echoing that she loved him and the feeling of her hands in his hair again, as he was snapped out of his thoughts when there was a knock on his bedroom door.
" Deuce? Are you awake, honey?' Medusa called. " Yeah, I'll be up in a minute..' Deuce muttered, his body a little sore. " No worries, sweetheart! I'm sure you're still dreaming about your night with Clawdeen' Medusa laughed. " Yeah, I- Wait, what?! How did you know we-' Deuce began. " I saw her leaving your bedroom, I put two and two together. Are you back together with her?' Medusa asked, excited. " No, no. Last night was.. goodbye. And I wanted to keep holding her in my arms, and I know she did too' Deuce sighed. " Then fight for her, son. Help her get out of her marriage-' Medusa began. " And she'll go running back to me?' Deuce asked. " Yes.. Yes, I think she will' Medusa murmured.
The she- wolf woke up the next morning feeling awful, still dazed about her night with Deuce, and how she never wanted to leave his arms.. Or his bed, they could've been cuddling in it right now. " There you are, ghoul. Where were you last night?' Draculaura asked. " Close the door, close the door!' Clawdeen whispered. " Oh, you don't look good. Did Romulus poison-' Draculaura began. " Deuce and I slept together last night' Clawdeen blurted out.

“ WHAT?! Does Medusa know?’ Draculaura cried. “ Considering she saw me leave Deuce’s bedroom.. But that’s not the biggest issue right now..’ Clawdeen began. “ Then what is?’ Draculaura asked. “ Drac.. I think I’m pregnant’ Clawdeen sighed.

" WHAT?! A- are you sure you're pregnant?' Draculaura cried. " Drac, I've been tired since midnight, none of my clothes fit anymore, and etc..' Clawdeen answered. " Those are all the pregnancy symptoms..' Draculaura muttered.
" Bloody hex, what are you doing in here, little witch? We were cuddling' Toralei asked. " Not now, Tor' Clawdeen gritted. " Clawdeen? What's the matter, you look awful?' Toralei asked, concerned. " Uh..' Clawdeen began. " She's pregnant, Tor' Draculaura answered. " By that jerkface?' Toralei snorted. " No, Deuce is the father..' Clawdeen answered. " Oh, dang. Did you take a pregnancy test yet?' Toralei asked. " No, and I'm afraid to tell my dad' Clawdeen muttered. " We'll handle that when the time comes, and telling Deuce. He deserves to know' Draculaura murmured. " Well, considering it's his baby..' Clawdeen muttered. " Deuce got you pregnant?!' Heath cried. " Aah! Heath, how the hex long have you been standing there?' Clawdeen cried.

" Aah! Heath, how the hex long have you been standing there?!' Clawdeen cried, as she stared at the elemental. " Long enough. Deuce got you pregnant?' Heath whispered, as he closed the door. " Yes, Deuce is the father of this baby, and not a word to my husband' Clawdeen whispered.
" Oh, obiviously. Otherwise he'll bury him to the ground' Heath teased. " Alright, we need to go and get you a test. Heath, if anyone asks, tell them she has the flu, unless you see the squad' Draculaura ordered. " Got it, won't let you down' Heath gulped, as they ran out of the room.
(1 hour later.)
" What does it say?' Cleo asked. " It's positive. I'm pregnant' Clawdeen sniffled, as the ghouls engulfed her into a tight hug. " We'll figure this out, okay? You're not alone, Claw. We're gonna-' Draculaura began, as there was a knock on the door. " Claws? Heath said you were sick, so I made you some homemade chicken noodle soup in a thermos and some saltines- Why do you have a pregnancy test?' Deuce asked, eyeing the stick in the wolf's hand. " Deuce.. You might want to sit down..' Clawdeen laughed. " Claws, you're scaring me. Are you ok?" Deuce asked, concerned. " I'm pregnant, Deuce' Clawdeen breathed. " Oh. That jerkface got you pregnant? I feel sorry for who his father i-' Deuce began. " Deuce, the baby's yours! You got me pregnant after we had s*x!' Clawdeen cried. " M- mine?' Deuce asked, as he fainted to the ground with a thud. " Well... At least he didn't freak out' Toralei retorted.

" Deuce? Are you ok?' Clawdeen softly asked, as she gently grabbed the gorgon's hand. " I- I think so. So... you're pregnant?' Deuce asked. " Yeah. Look, if you don't want to be involved, Deuce-' Clawdeen began.
" No, no! I do, I do. I'm not gonna be like my father and abandon our child, or you. Oh, the council's gonna kill us' Deuce cried. " The council doesn't know yet, and neither does my dad' Clawdeen laughed. " Correction.. Your dad and grandfather will kill me. Is it a boy or a girl?' Deuce asked. " I don't know yet, I haven't even made my first appointment yet' Clawdeen answered. " We'll take care of that, ok? Now we just need to get your husband out of the picture' Draculaura chimed in. " And how exactly do we that?' Deuce smirked. " I have a few ideas-' Heath began, as there was a knock on the door. " Who's at the door now?! We're busy!' Clawdeen cried. " I see the hormones have kicked in' Deuce muttered. " Sorry, baby cub. I just wanted to make sure you were okay' Apollo apologized. " I'm okay, Dad! Just getting dressed, hehe..' Clawdeen laughed. " No worries' Apollo grinned, as he walked off and the she- wolf turned to Deuce. " New rule. No telling our parents until we find out the gender of the baby' Clawdeen whispered. " Deal' Deuce whisper- answered. " Does Dracula count?' Heath teased.

" Does Dracula count?' Heath teased. " Yeah, but that Drac's place to tell him, Heath, not ours' Clawdeen chimed in. " Well..' Deuce began. " What?' Clawdeen asked, as the gorgon hesitated. " Spit it out, Deuce' Clawdeen pleaded. " Dracula and my mom are dating. Drac, if you tell your dad about the baby, he might run and tell my mom' Deuce answered. " Oh. Drac, you can't tell your dad about the baby yet, sorry' Clawdeen apologized. " It's cool, I wasn't going to tell him this early anyway' Draculaura shrugged. " Clawdeen? Are you alright, sweetheart? Apollo said you were- Oh, hi, Deuce' Lupinia began. " L- Lupinia, hi. So good to see you again' Deuce stammered. " You as well, sweetheart. Now, Clawdeen, are you alright? You look a little sick' Lupinia asked. " Yeah, I just have a.. stomach bug, so i've been in and out of the bathroom. And Deuce was just coming to check on me, weren't you?' Clawdeen answered. " Uh, yes, hehe...That's why I'm here, no other particular reason. I've got to run, but make sure you eat the soup and watch the bab- watch your stomach' Deuce laughed. " We'll walk you out' Draculaura murmured, as they slipped out of the room. " Ok, how much longer are we gonna be able to keep this secret?' Draculaura whispered. " I don't know, but if the council or Romulus finds out.. We're screwed!' Deuce whisper-yelled. " Finds out what? Kids, what's going on?' Apollo asked. " Uh..' Deuce hesitated, as he mentally cursed.

" Uh..' Deuce hesitated, as he mentally cursed. " Nothing! Why would yoh think anything is going on, hehe..' Draculaura laughed. " Because you said something about if the council or Romulus finds out, you're screwed. Is everything okay?' Apollo asked, and Deuce gulped. He wasn't prepared to tell his ex-girlfriend's father he had gotten her pregnant. " Uh, we were panicking because Heath accidentally broke a statue in his room when he was getting dressed, so..' Draculaura answered. " Heath..' Apollo sighed, as Heath let out a offended gasp. " I know, I should've been more careful, and so should Deuce' Heath teased. " Yes, you should. I'll handle the council and Romulus, just try not to do it again?' Apollo murmured.
" Will do' Heath assured, as he walked off. " That was close..' Deuce muttered. " Yeah. I need to tell my dad' Clawdeen chimed in. " Woah, woah. Are you sure?' Deuce asked. " He's gonna get suspicious eventually, Deuce, and wonder why my stomach is growing?' Clawdeen answered. " Touchè. I'm just afraid of how he's gonna react..' Deuce gulped. " It'll be ok, I know how to handle him. Dad!' Clawdeen called. " Oh, there you are, baby cub. Are you alright? You look really sick' Apollo asked. " Yeah, about that..' Clawdeen muttered. " What is it? What's wrong?' Apollo asked. " Deuce and I have something to tell you..' Clawdeen began. " Oh?' Apollo asked. " Dad.. Please don't freak out' Clawdeen pleaded. " What is it?' Apollo asked. " I'm pregnant..' Clawdeen sniffled. " I'm gonna be a grandpa?' Apollo gasped. " Yes, you're going to be a grandpa' Clawdeen grinned. " Oh, your grandparents are gonna be thrilled. We have to tell-' Apollo began. " No, we can't!' Clawdeen cried. " Why not?' Apollo asked. " Because... The baby's mine, Apollo' Deuce sighed. " The baby's yours?!' Apollo cried.

" The baby's yours, Deuce?!' Apollo cried. " Yeah..' Deuce gulped, as he nervously scratched his neck. " Ok.. Does Medusa know?' Apollo sighed. " No. I'm going to tell her today, hopefully she's in a good mood' Deuce muttered. " W- When did this happen?' Apollo asked. " The night when I went to the br in town and didn't come back to the castle that night, hehe..' Clawdeen laughed. " Right, the night you needed an air. But, baby cub, are you ready to be a mother? This isn't just one of those doll babies, this is an actual baby. I-' Apollo began. " I know, Dad. I'm not going to fail this baby if that's what you're thinking' Clawdeen firmly answered, as she stormed off. " I see the hormones have kicked in' Apollo nuttered. " Yeah. Apollo, she knows you didn't mean it, she's just a little frazzled right now' Deuce assured. " I know. Just.. Tell her I love her' Apollo murnured, placing a gentle hand on the gorgon's shoulder before he walked off.
" Claws?' Deuce called. " I'm over here' Clawdeen sniffled. " Your dad didn't mean what he said, he's just worried' Deuce assured. " But what if he's right, Deuce? We're not even adults yet, and we're going to have a baby! W- What if we fail it?' Clawdeen sniffled. " Hey, look at me. I know this is challening for you, but I promise our baby's gonna be okay, and you're not alone, our parents and the squad are going to help us, and most importantly, you have me. I won't let you do this slone' Deuce softly murmured. " You're really ok with your future plan being a teenage dad?' Clawdeen snorted. " I don't mind at all' Deuce grinned, and the she wolf's heart melted. " You're pregnant?' Medusa asked. " Aah! Mom, what the hex are you doing here?' Deuce cried. " Apollo invited me over for lunch, and now it makes sense why. I'm gonna be a grandma?' Medusa asked.
