Summary
It has been years since Persephone had stepped foot into Hogwarts. The echoes of the past rang loud in her ears as she walked the familiar halls. Her footsteps were the only sound as she carried herself towards the Headmistress’s office. She could barely tell there had been damage done to the cold stone walls. She takes a breath before knocking on the door. McGonagall’s familiar voice chimed for her to come in. As the large wooden doors opened she was met with familiar eyes.
Persephone (Persie) Ellesmere returns years after the Battle of Hogwarts, only this time she is the new Muggle Studies professor. Upon her arrival she is greeted by two familiar faces, ones she thought she would only see in the Daily Prophet. Draco Malfoy, her academic rival during her years at Hogwarts, and Harry Potter, the unrequited love. It’s going to be a long school year for her as she learns they too have been accepted as new professors. Luckily other familiar faces appear as new professors alongside her. Only time will tell as she is torn between the two men who once were her entire world as everything ended in smoke and ash.
