   Summary

   Neuvillette, the son of a lord with a fondness for literature, is able to enjoy all the privileges that come with a life of a dandy – all but love, it seems. In order to take on the responsibilities of the family’s head he must be wed, to a lady nonetheless, which isn’t exactly the kind of future he longs for. Amidst his father’s most recent attempts to arrange a marriage, Neuvillette becomes deeply fascinated with Wriothesley, their household’s new groundskeeper. And as if keeping his desire at bay wasn’t difficult enough, new doubts arise after his father’s deeply buried secrets start coming to light.
