    Summary

In the seashore of the island of the Goddess Calypso stands Odysseus. His beard and hair are unkempt, and his eyes are sad and tired.
He has spent years there and no longer remembers his wife's voice. The faces of his dead comadres nothing more than a blur distorted by a veil of water.

In a final act of desperation, he looks to the sky and says, voice shaking:

"Oh Athena! My old friend, please hear my prayers!"

    Or:
A monologue of Odysseus in Calypso's Island I wrote after listening to epic the musical song "love in paradise" in repeat lol. This may be bad, but I would appreciate it if you gave it a try anyway.
Everything you read is my interpretation of the events of 'The Odyssey.'
