“Papa! Papa! Papa!”
He hears Little footsteps rushing to him, and feels little hands grabbing his leg. There’s his little love, Daniel is the splitting image of his daddy, that beautiful smile, prettiest blue eyes, & birthmark he loves.
“Where’s daddy baby?”
“He’s with baby sister!”
Tommy heads to the living room but stops in his tracks.
How could this be his life? married to the love of his life, two beautiful children.
He got what he always wanted so bad. A family, one that he can call his own.
Evan gave him the one thing he always wanted but felt he never deserved.
“Papa, why are you crying? Are you sad?”
“No, baby, papa isn’t sad. These are happy tears.”
In that moment, Evan looks up, gives him that bright smile, but frowns when he sees the tears.
Evan doesn’t hesitate, picks up their baby girl, heads straight to him & Daniel.
“What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
“Papa isn’t sad daddy, they are happy tears!” Daniel says in his little voice.
Evan tries to hide his worry from Daniel.
Tommy brings Evan & Eloísa to his arms, brings Evan’s forehead to his own, closes his eyes, cherishes this feeling, opens his eyes.
“Thank you.” He whispers with so much emotion in his voice that doesn’t help to calm Evan’s nerves.
“Tommy, what’s going on?”
“Evan, thank you for letting me love you,thank you for this life I never thought in my wildest dreams would be mine. I love you so much & our beautiful children, I never thought I was worthy of your love but you always knew.” He lets out a sob.
Evan raises his hand to wipe Tommy’s tears while having his own form.
“Tommy you have always been worthy of my love, we found our way back together, I wouldn’t change a thing. This is our life, our happiness, our little family, something we both had been searching for all these years.”
They stay embraced with their little loves between them, he kisses Eloísa’s forehead, Daniel’s birthmark, moves to Evan’s birthmark & ends with the softest kiss on his lips
