The glint in someone's eye when they talk about their passion; I had never witnessed it until then. Maybe because I didn't use a mirror.
"And we'll wrap it up with a Swift and Scratch combo," Serena gushed, her hands shakily gripping the blueprint of her upcoming performance.
"That sounds pretty, Serena!" I exclaimed, nodding with an energy that could match hers.
Or at least I hoped.
Because when her gaze met mine, the frenzied dance of her ocean blue eyes was breathtakingly admirable, appreciable.
And it only came with chasing dreams.
