Summary
Astarion is free of Cazador, and now works as a bounty hunter. When a contract sends him to Waterdeep in search of a necromancer, he meets Gale, who also happens to be searching for the same man in an effort to free himself from the parasite within him. While initially joining forces for a common goal, the passion and connection between them flares to life, as they slowly fall for each other over the course of the journey.
