Work Text:

Rita looked at the woman sitting in the chair behind her with a slightly sad look. She turned to her and handed her a cup of hot tea before sitting down next to her. "What's going on mon chérie? Is something bothering you?” Bellatrix asked.
Rita shook her head; "No, everything is fine. Except I have a crazy, convicted murderer in my house." Bellatrix would have believed her lie, and considered her second sentence a joke. The problem was that she had known her too long for that.
"Tss, I hate liars, and you know it, Rita. Tell the truth."
"I just..." Rita began slightly hesitantly before taking a sip of tea as if to build up her courage.
"Just you?" Bellatrix asked slightly mockingly. Rita sighed, if it had been anyone but Bellatrix, they would have been slapped in the face.
"I don't want to lose you again, Trix," Rita admitted. Bellatrix blinked her eyes a few times in surprise.
"What do you mean?"
Rita sighed. "Everything, I mean everything. I lost you, for so many years. In that horrible family, in that stupid war! And you want to go back? You want to continue fight? I don't want you to do that, Trix. I'm afraid that when you leave this house, I won't see you again." Rita said.
Bellatrix looked at her with a hint of empathy in her eye, but also a smile on lips. "Is that what you're afraid of, little bug?" she laughed and gently leaned towards her. "You don't have to be afraid. There's no way they'll get me again Rita. You're not going to get rid of me just like that." she said, giving a soft kiss on the blonde’s lips.

Rita looked at the "grave" of Bellatrix.
It actually wasn't a grave, no one wanted to put in the work to make one or arrange funeral.
Rita understood, Bellatrix was the most feared Death Eater afterall.
It was just a photo of her when she was young with a few Narcissus flowers, put in her favorite place. She putted it there with Narcissa. Rita's ice blue eyes studied the photo, and the tears in slowly rolled down her cheeks. "Liar," she whispered into the air and went away.
