Frank Iero is a barista who at one point really, truly enjoyed his job at the local cafe. But the powers that be (unchecked capitalism) have turned his workplace into something soulless and miserable, a thing he has to get through to pay his rent on time. The only thing worse than the new corporate bullshit is the newest regular: a weird, quiet guy who camps in the corner all day on his laptop and gets under Frank’s skin like no one else.

It was clear that Gerard was never going to be detoxed from Frank’s system – he knew that. Especially with how Gerard was at the show tonight, and the character they chose to play for this tour.
A bratty, rebellious frontman that needed to be tamed and put in their place? Good lord, Frank never stood a chance. He almost hated how he fell right into Gerard’s trap of needing every person in the vicinity to want to fuck them. Frank was so tired of Gerard’s curated decisions and perfectly planned actions that always resulted in them having everyone under their spell.
That’s what was so magical about that slap, for a brief moment, it seemed like Gerard was caught off guard. Shaken up. Slightly defenseless.
And based on their reaction, Gerard liked it.
