“This is the dumbest thing you’ve dragged me into,” Katsuki growled out, crouched at the starting line. The dorm’s common room had been remade into a chaotic mess of pillows, rope, and precariously stacked chairs.
“It’s not dumb. It’s strategy. Also, no quirks allowed.” Kaminari replied, holding Shinsou’s hand as they plotted their course through the self-made maze.
Shinsou yawned, “We’re still winning, though.”
Katsuki scoffed. “Over my fucking dead body. I’m not losing to you.”
“They’re cute,” Todoroki said, tightening his gloves.
Katsuki turned to him with a look of betrayal. “You’re supposed to be on my side, Half-and-Half!”
“I am. But they are.”
With that, Kaminari yelled, “Go!” and the race began. Katsuki ran through the first segment, flinging pillows aside like grenades. Todoroki followed behind, calmly stepping over debris while Katsuki yelled out instructions about speed and precision.
Behind them, Kaminari tripped over a rope, sending he and Shinsou into a heap of tangled limbs, “You’re supposed to help me!” Kaminari groaned as he tried to drag himself upright.
“I told you to skip the rope,” Shinsou said, untangling himself.
By the time Katsuki and Todoroki reached the finish line, Kaminari and Shinsou were still recovering.
“Told you I’d win,” Katsuki said smugly, flexing his arms, muscles on full display.
“You shoved me into a chair,” Todoroki replied, dusting himself off.
“All part of the plan, Icyhot. We would have won against them with any strategy I made.”
Kaminari sulked in Shinsou’s lap, muttering about how to beat them next time. Shinsou chuckled as he pressed a soft kiss to Kaminari’s forehead. “We’ll get them next time. Maybe.”
