“You wouldn’t know passion if it hit you in the face, Half-and-Half,” Katsuki growled as he paced the common room. His hands popped with a stray explosion as he gestured wildly, his crimson eyes blazed with conviction.
Todoroki sat on the couch, unbothered and sipping his tea. “And you equate passion with yelling at everyone. That’s not passion; it’s noise.”
“It’s the drive, you icy block of wood!” Katsuki snarled, whipping around to point a finger at him. “Passion is giving a damn, pushing yourself to the limit, making something explode just because you can!”
Todoroki raised an eyebrow. “So passion is violence?”
“Not just violence!” Katsuki threw up his hands in exasperation. “It’s—ugh! You wouldn’t get it.”
“I'm listening though.” Todoroki said, taking another sip.
From their spot in the kitchen, Kaminari and Shinsou watched them both like spectators at a tennis match.
“They’re like an explosive rom-com,” Kaminari whispered as he rested his chin on Shinsou’s shoulder.
“More like a disaster movie,” Shinsou replied with a smirk, “Though I kind of envy their energy.”
Kaminari turned to him with a grin, eyes widening as he wagged his eyebrows, “We could get a little ‘passionate’ ourselves, you know.
As Katsuki continued on, Todoroki interrupted him, “Passion isn’t always loud, Kats, Sometimes, it’s just... consistent.”
Katsuki froze, “What the hell does that mean?”
Todoroki set his tea down, a smirk on his face, “It means I’m still here, listening to all of this, because I care about you.”
Katsuki blinked as his cheeks heat up, “Tch. Whatever.”
Meanwhile, Kaminari leaned closer to Shinsou as he gave a quick kiss. “Think we’re consistent?”
Shinsou smiled as he pulled him closer. “More than those two, at least. Blasty is a disaster but he's getting better. ”
