“Do you always have to breathe so loud, Icyhot?” Katsuki hissed loudly. He was laying on the couch, staring at the faint glow of the TV as some crappy action movie they chose hours ago flickered on the screen.
“I could stop breathing entirely if that would help,” Todoroki replied as he sipped a glass of water.
“Don’t tempt me,” Katsuki muttered, a smirk on his face.
Behind them, hidden behind the doorway was Kaminari and Shinsou. They loved finding these two together, it was peak entertainment for them. Kaminari's voice barely above a whisper. “Do you think they know we’re here?”
“No,” Shinsou murmured, “But they’ll find out if you keep giggling like that.”
Back in the common room, Todoroki turned slightly toward Katsuki, “You’re staying up to watch this? I didn’t think you cared about cheesy movies.”
Katsuki scowled as he threw popcorn at him. “I don’t, Half-and-Half. It’s the only thing on, and I’m not wasting energy finding another movie.”
From their hiding spot, Kaminari whispered, “They’re weirdly domestic, huh?”
“Whisper any louder, and they’ll hear you,” Shinsou muttered.
Todoroki shifted closer to Katsuki, his gaze on the blond. “It’s not the movie you’re staying up for, is it?”
Katsuki bristled, “Shut up before I make you regret it.”
From the shadows, Shinsou raised an eyebrow at Kaminari. “Bet you Katsuki’s blushing. He's totally staying up for Todoroki.”
Kaminari grinned. “No bet. That’s a given.”
Katsuki’s head whipped toward the doorway. “I knew you two were there! Get out before I blow you up!”
As Kaminari bolted back upstairs with a laugh, Shinsou stayed for a few seconds, a smirk on his face, “You’re lucky we’re keeping this comedy to ourselves.”
“OUT!” Katsuki roared, but his scowl softened when Todoroki chucked besides him like nothing had happened in the last few minutes. It was all Katsuki needed to reach for the remote to find a better movie for the both of them.
