   Summary

   When Maeglin was captured by Orcs and brought to Angband he offered information of the lays of the hidden city of Gondolin in exchnage for his life. But beside for the false promised of Melkor and the betrayal he fell for something much more valuable - Mairon.

   This fanfiction is based on the version of the Fall of Gondolin written in the History of Middle-Earth so it differs from the version written in the Silmarillion.
