Summary
Look, the five of them hadn’t meant to enter a game together. It just sort of accidentally happened. They all try their best not to join games together because you really never know who’s going to make it out alive or even if you can all make it out alive together. There are always impossible decisions when it comes to the games in this cruel place and Arisu has learned that firsthand. So, he’s tried to make it a point to steer clear of entering games with people he cares about.
Okay, he really needs to stop just jumping to the worst conclusion, this could be a simple game that they’ll all make it out of (he’s being optimistic because by the sheer amount of people that are already here, this won’t be an easy game). He just can’t help but worry about himself and his friends. His boyfriend. Arisu knows that he can’t get out of this so he follows, walking over to the table and grabbing a phone, the screen lighting up as it recognizes him.
Apparently, that was all the game needed because then the voice rings out, ”Registration is now closed. The game will now commence. Difficulty, Nine of Clubs.”
