The doorbell rang. He rolled his eyes at his siblings and stood up. “I hate you all.”
“Col?” Penelope called from the kitchen. “Can you get that? I’m bringing out more snacks!”
“I got it!” He got up and threw a pillow at Eloise’s head.
“Why?!”
“Because I know you’re going to say something when I walk away.”
“Yeah, but it would have been loud enough for you to hear it.”
Everyone laughed.
Colin shook his head and walked to the door. He opened it and was confused. Before him was a young blonde woman who looked about Hyacinth’s age and also looked remarkably like his fiancée. He tilted his head. “May I help you?”“Hi, my name is Felicity. I’m looking for Penelope?” The young woman took a deep breath. “I think I’m her sister.”
