Work Text:
That day was like no other. Sevika came home from work, smelling of oil, machinery, and cologne. Her forehead was dirtied by the grease of the cars she had worked on throughout the day. The sound of pattered footsteps filled the room as you raced to meet your lover, throwing your arms around her in a needy, clingy huh. Sevika could only chuckle with an exhausted time as she wrapped her strong arms around you, lifting you off the ground.
"You miss me, doll?" Sevika teased as she looked down at you, her eyes shining with love. Her thumb gently brushed over your cheek as she leaned down and placed a most tender kiss to your lips.
It was then that Ambessa entered the room, her footsteps alerting the two women. Sevika gave a small smirk, gesturing for Ambessa to join the hug. With rapid movements and long strides, Ambessa found her way to you both, wrapping her arms tightly around and pulling both women into her chest. The hug lasted several moments as each woman savored the feeling of the other.
It was unspoken, the agreement. Tangled limbs pulled away as feet shuffled across the floor, up the stairs, and down the hall. The bed creaked under the weight of all three women. Ambessa was the first to lie down, opening her arms to you with an inviting smile tugging at the scarred face of your lover. You made no hesitations as you dove into her muscular arms, burying your face into the crook her neck as her arms encased you into her chest. Sevika followed not long after, snuggling in behind you, draping her arm over both women.
Ambessa pressed an affectionate kiss to your forehead as Sevika buried her face into your hair, inhaling the sweet scent of your shampoo. It was like home to the older woman. Your scent was the guiding force to keep her sane. Your body pressed against hers a tether to sanity.
"I love you, doll." Sevika murmured softly, her voice low and full of devotion.
"I love you as well, little one." Ambessa added, sliding her hands down to your waist and pulling you impossibly closer.
The setting sun bathed the bedroom in shades of oranges and red as the women lie tangled and murmuring soft conversation between them. It was a scene of love, affection. The love shared between the women would outlast wars and famines, would survive the worst of apocalypses. You were the beacon of hope and everything good to Sevika and Ambessa. You were their everything, their sun and stars. They would give anything and take anything if it meant you were happy. They were your good men in the storm, your lighthouse in rough waters. And God damn it, Sevika and Ambessa couldn't help but love being so wrapped around your finger.
