Suguru sighed, eating another forkful of chili cheese fries. No matter how much he ate, he couldn't get rid of the lingering aftertaste of curses.
"You know, Suguru," Satoru said, in between bites of his sixth burger, "Why don't you just season the curses? Like, throw some ketchup on it or something. There's nothing that says you can't, right?"
Suguru looked at Satoru incredulously.
"He has a point, you know," Shoko said before taking another puff of her cigarette.
"Not you too, Shoko," Suguru groaned.
"Seriously, though, why have you never tried it?" Satoru asked, licking his fingers as he finished the burger.
Suguru paused. "Well, I can't just carry seasoning around with me."
"Sure you can," Shoko said, "Don't you have pockets?"
"It could fall out."
"Get zippers," Satoru said, "Duh."
"Well- seasoning bottles are glass. If it breaks in my pocket, it could cut me."
Shoko lit another cigarette. "You know those little ziploc bags? Just put a bunch of seasoning in those and use one per curse."
"...Actually, yeah. I think I'll try that."
From then on, Suguru seasoned his curses so they didn't taste as bad.
