It was here where Kaveh chose to spend his evening with Alhaitham, to don masks and beautifully tailored suits apart, just to meet here when the time arrived. It had taken some convincing—and a skillful tongue the night before—but Kaveh felt nothing short of giddiness at his success.

A Masquerade Ball is hosted in Fontaine. Both Kaveh and Alhaitham take the evening to dance, before returning to their room for a more intimate engagement.
