Summary
They’d crawl inside each other and live there, cocooned among the viscera, huddled inside flesh and blood like ancient creatures entombed in the earth. They are one body made whole, torn open and dissected by the ways of the world. They belong to each other; belong with each other.
It's homesickness, a hunger to return. It’s self-immolation, a flagellant looking to carve off their own skin. They consume and are consumed. They’ll eat each other whole and keep each other warm in the deep belly of the beast.
