Summary
At the end of his pathetic, villainous life, Sylas is killed by the hero. It is a fate he accepts, and despite the struggle and his desire to burn the entire world to the ground, he gives in. However, fate has other plans for him and as he is ripped from the aether he is greeted to a new mystery; a new life.
Having been given a second lease on life, he must figure out not only who he is but how he got there, and the greatest mystery of all: why he woke up in a pool of blood, and the culprit behind his own death.
Will he find out who killed him before he can perform the final rite as his role now as this new world's chosen one, or will he run out of time and be sacrificed once more?
