Summary
Yue Qingyuan wasn’t exactly a man who put much of his faith into beings beyond his own realm, such as gods and ghosts. However, he was a man at the end of his rope and there wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t try for his Xiao Jiu.
Shen Yuan had confided only in him with his actual best-kept secret, though Yue Qingyuan wouldn’t be surprised to find out Luo Binghe was also aware. Yue Qingyuan was glad he was told the truth, was glad he didn’t live the rest of his life in a lie, only… there wasn’t a more painful truth Yue Qingyuan could have been told.
Yue Qingyuan has found out that Shen Jiu hasn't been alive in eleven years. So, obviously, he makes it his mission to revive the person that means more to him than his own life. Five years later, two people are sent to him from other worlds, to aid him on this quest.
