Summary
Char visits again, of course, and he thinks he fares better in their next conversation in convincing Char nothing has changed now that he has a reason to live again, but based on the strange looks Char gives him whenever he thinks he’s not looking, he can’t be sure. He never was able to get anything past Char, even smaller things than suddenly seeing the world around him covered in meat and his loved ones as disgusting monsters. Thankfully, Char seems to think better than questioning him too hard when someone might overhear him. He’ll have to get better at hiding it before Char truly decides to press into him.
