'Desensitise' more like 'Sapnap despises that word'. Okay maybe despise is too much but he didn't like it when people say 'this generation is so desensitised to violence or horror' like they weren't still human and it only mattered if the parents were assholes.
It was maybe more of a modern view that believes that traditional values hold no value at all.
As if wars weren't waged in almost every era in history.
He plays violent games sure, he knows some people who aren't bothered by horror games at all. But still, seeing a injured cat or a homeless person on the side of the road would tear his heart to pieces.
The persona is carved for himself on the internet is so public yet a facade or was saving a kitten from drowning the facade?
Sapnap whistles for the kitten to follow, now healthy, jumps over to him like a bouncy ball of fluff.
He couldn't keep the cat however so hopefully she'd stay clear from drains in the near future... even going so far as to build a little home for her to stay in out of sturdy looking cardboard boxes.
He sits on the side of the path, watching people walk past him. It was nice to get out once in a while, with his nature of his work, he gets to have more free time but not necessary freedom.
With a cap and a mask it was easy to blend with the crowd. If anyone were to comment on it for any reason he'd just ignore them, usually it will end in fights. But he had gotten so used to it that it doesn't bother him and he doesn't prevent some assholes to prevent him from doing what he wanted.
Dream wouldn't take that chance, he jokes that he isn't risking hurting his pretty face. But Sapnap knows better, those who know, take the time to look, knows that they may say one thing... but mean the other. It's the way they were wired somehow; maybe it was because the adults find kids frustrating when kids make a huge fuss.
It's easy to lie, to joke, to pretend that everything was fine when it wasn't.
It seemed like only the three of them would only have each other.
"Sapnap!" A cheerful voice exclaims as a rolling ball of red hair slams into him. He never thought that there could be someone more clingier than him.
They had only met just last month but Sapnap is already finding himself fond of Shadoune and the spanish streamer community.
Known to have played games longer than he had lived his life. He still looks at him worriedly when faced with competition.
"You should look out for Sapnap, if you lose he will be mad-"
Too Sensitive, not sensitive enough... Sapnap wished he had no ears as he cannot help but ear and see all those who are against him no matter what he say.
"Of course, it is a competition after all."
Sapnap's eyes widen as he looks at Shadoune who smiles at him.
"You're not going to pull me down, aren't you Sapnap?" Shadoune grins. Shadoune wears his feelings on his sleeves which is a breath of fresh air as he seems rather determined to win this competition. He remembers back when they first met at the same competition, how he felt sad and looked dejected on stream.
Yet not once did he turn his head away from him.
For the first time other than Dream and George, there was finally someone who isn't scared of him. Of course he wouldn't why would he be intimidated by a little red panda's teeth?
"That is my line."
