Summary
Izuku’s fingers dig into his back and Katsuki can feel the way he breathes against his chest. He allows his eyes to close, to re-ground himself in those strong, familiar arms.
After a few moments of quiet, only muted plips of water hitting the concrete floor from a leak somewhere filling the air, Izuku speaks again, stronger, “I need you with me.”
His words are hot against Katuski’s ear. Life echoes in each breath.
Katsuki nods.
It’s not the first time Izuku has said those words to him.
“I’m with you,” He replies, and it’s not the first time he’s said those ones either.
- AKA a zombie quirk has taken over the world, and Katsuki and Izuku are stranded together after a supply-run gone wrong and have to take the long way back to base.
